A tumor does not have creative thought, will never develop into anything other than a parasite living off a host. It's unique DNA is a proven mutation of your own. It is you, just a defective form that has enough function still intact to replicate itself as you do. A tumor is in no way comparable to a human embryo created by two unique people which will one day be it's own unique being with thoughts, ideas, feelings, fears, love and emotion. Individual humans are neither unique nor special. There are more than 7.5 billion living humans on this planet. 10 out of 10 of them will die. I still think a woman should have the right to smash her newborn infant to death with a brick if she wants to, as long as it's still attached via umbilical cord and that placenta is still inside her. I'd be willing to best to each of those 10 people (including you), that unique individual life is pretty damn important. |
