I mean its damn near communism.... the government gives you a job and you get paid in food stamps.

GOOD ! I was at the store this weekend and the woman in front of me paid for her purchases with a EBT card. When I got out into the parking lot she was loading her stuff into a brand new Escalade.

Thats shit really pisses me off.

I make too much money and get taxed out the ass.

Then i have to buy a over priced used car to even make it to work.

They could still be given a local food stamp coupon, but it would at least keep our federal government from wasting money on illegal aliens.

Then you have the people who sell them. A lot of times the buyer is some foreign piece of shit from the Mideast who owns a little neighborhood store.

I've seen that story in the news at least 100 times. I'm sure that's only a fraction of the number of store owners who are gaming the system.

this i what i nearly told a Texas Workforce caseworker when i had to do the program when we first moved here. Most of us that live here theres relatively NO industry unless you work the Oil Feilds so thats how everyone eats out here. otherwise we'd all starve.

I agree with the chief executive to a point.. Raising the requirement from 49 to 60? Seems a bit excessive.. Why Stop There? Why not just raise the age to anyone who collects works no matter what age they are? How about making people who collect SSI have to work once they start to collect more than they paid into the system? It's taxpayer money at that point?


Like I said? I agree to age 50.. Unfortunately many hard working people start falling apart after 50 that just a sad fact of life..


I know all members of GLP are Millionaires.. And will never need any type of public assistance... But what say you?

This should have always been a requirement. It's really quite simple

American taxpayers should get something in return. Trump is a skilled negotiator, he knows, ALWAYS get something in return, ALWAYS.

It doesn't have to be a big deal. A few measly hours a month of community service would satisfy my wishes, and literally everyone would win.

Hell, if needed, it could be a job reference.

And hopefully Trump adds MANDATORY DRUG TESTING as well.

I think drug testing would just be a big waste of money and a big pay out to the labs. The work requirement is great.
If nothing else people can sell some stuff online.

It always gives a warm fuzzy feeling volunteering at the Salvation Army monthly food distribution carrying free groceries to a needy person's corvette, then having to take half of them back inside because they won't fit with the groceries from the first food pantry they visited.
