It's like your boss walking up and telling you to do something, and giving you the authority to do it. This memo could be big. What will probably happen is that the DOJ litigators will call BS on obstructionist judges rulings. This memo tells those lawyers how to frame the issues in their cases, so that if the case gets before the US Supreme Court, there is a valid legal basis for slapping the obstructionist judges down. Sometimes he finds a way to get things done through "loopholes" or other means, and that's perfectly legal, and it's especially fun when the left screams bloody murder about it. But here, he needs to defeat these judges direcly by removing their authority to do this. At least I don't see any intention to ignore judges here, but to overrule them within their legal system. |
