Don't say I didn't warn you...

It appears there will be an uncommon retrograde eclipse seen from SDO on March 6, 2019. The moon will eclipse the sun, but then it will appear to stop and reverse direction due to apparent retrograde motion caused by SDO's orbit. For those who don't know, SDO is the Solar Dynamics Observatory. Unlike SOHO and STEREO, SDO orbits earth in a geosynchronous orbit, and can experience eclipses from time to time. Because it is not a stationary observer on earth, it can observe apparent retrograde motion of the moon. If that moment is timed just right to coincide with a solar eclipse, the moon can appear to reverse direction.

This usually causes a fair bit of confusion and leads to claims that it's "not the moon." I've developed this SDO annotation and prediction bot precisely to calculate the positions of the earth and moon relative to the sun as seen from SDO and predict every eclipse like this going forward, before it happens. Of course that means its normal if my bot is able to predict it, but I have a feeling that even this will not prevent people from freaking out about it when March comes around. When that happens I'll be linking back to this thread to remind you that I predicted it months before it happened. If that upsets you, just remember I could have been a dishonest prick and used my knowledge of it to pretend to have secret knowledge of "Planet X" or "Nibiru" instead.
