She will relinquish it only when Trump pries the gavel out of her cold dead hand. Even if she were be put into an iron lung, she would force her attendents to push the contraption into the SC chambers. I do not know of a Justice that was incapacitated, as in a persistent vegetative state, wherein a vote by the other Justices would remove the incapacitated Justice from the position, but that sounds logical. I heard she broke 2 ribs in 2012. Now she's broken three. And she's 85 been through 2 serious cancer issues, and is extremely frail. If I were to wager, I would bet that she passes within 6 weeks even with the above all others health care she receives. So, death, or retirement. And certainly, barring impeachment, Trump will pick another Scotus. Which will shape the rulings in this country for the next 30 years.
