Considering all the fires they had this past summer, and the ones going on right now, is there any place in Cali that isn't burnt to a crisp? It seems like every year they have tremendous fires, so how is it that there is anything left to burn the NEXT year?

Is she the lady who shot the videos of community meetings where they were trying push their new plans? There was a great one from the bay area which showed the conspirators using a type of deflect and shut down debate tactic. There's a name for it but I can't recall what it is. Those vids revealed one of the plans was not allow ANY single family housing.

I have backpacked from one end of California to the other. Do you know what I saw 30 years ago?

Forest Service blocking roads with boulders and letting the trees and brush close them permanently. No access for fire trucks. The Forest Service was infiltrated and taken over by the Greens.

No logging or very little on private land. Lots of restrictions. Therefore, a build up of FUEL for fires.

The Greens secretly bred Spotted Owls and put them in nests on forest that was scheduled for logging to prevent such industry.

Old trees dying from insect attacks, i.e., dry standing trees.

No grazing. In the old days, for example in the LA Basin, they ran huge herds of goats in the Winters to eat the overgrowth of brush. Put enough goats in one area and they will strip the brush to the ground.

No firebreaks in the forests.

This is all the fault of the GREENS. Their policies are idiotic. People DIE because of those policies.

Do the Greens want to remove human habitations and private land from the areas outside cities? Hell, YES.

Note that California ALWAYS had fires before the European settlers came. Old photos of the Sierras show grassland with a few fire-resistant trees. Now, photos of the same areas show solid forest with no grassland.

What makes you say that about the spotted owl? Do you have evidence or is it more of a hunch? I believe the same types planted cougars east of the Mississippi, in places where they had long been rooted out - to the extreme benefit of humans. Suddenly, mountain lions started appearing in places where there never had been any in anyone's living memory. Very fishy. All it takes is ONE rich person, like a Ted Turner, to make that happen.

A year or two ago I got an email from the Sierra Club. I've never been a member, don't like them and have no idea how I made their list. I opened it and you know what it was about, in the headline? POPULATION CONTROL.

The bit about the owls was told to me by a senior guy in the logging industry. That was in 1992. The loggers knew that people were planting owls in the forest to prevent planned logging.

My major point is that the lousy forest management is the fault of the bureaucrats in charge.

If I was the Prez, I would fire the entire Forest Service and hire a contractor company to provide the same services. If we just started cutting firebreaks, opening old roads, grazing, and logging, we could cut the severity of the fires by 90%.

Hell, it would turn a profit for the country while providing jobs!

The logging exec I met in 1992 explained that the greens had a secret breeding facility for spotted owls.

When a section of forest came up for logging, they would release an owl or two in that area and then "observe" that the birds were there.

If the owls were within a certain distance, the logging would be canceled.

I saw the old photos vs. new photos of the Sierras at a Ranger Station when I was backpacking. I'll bet you can find similar examples with a web search. The Sierras naturally burned off every few years before the modern practice of putting out forest fires.

Remember, the original idea behind putting out forest fires was to have more trees for LOGGING. Timber used to be a major industry in those mountains.

BTW, as a hunter, having the forests cover the mountains is BAD. There are few forbs and grasses below the trees for the deer to eat. When the trees start dying , there are lots of bugs, grubs, and mushrooms for the bears. Current trend is fewer deer and more bears.

I have seen the Tavares video. Yes, there is a widespread green religion that supports Agenda 21.

If anyone is really interested, just join the Sierra Club or some environmental group and LISTEN while keeping your mouth shut. They will tell you exactly what they plan to do!
