If you are allowed to properly defend yourself when attacked, forgiving people is incredibly easy. But where your ability to do this is culturally shamed out of existence, that just doesn't happen. The truth is always somewhere else, not even in between, when the Hegelian game is afoot :P And Saturn is a planet. We are not cavemen that feel the need to worship something, anything, so long as we can pass on responsibility for our actions to that thing. We do not feel the need to follow any more, just because one says they should lead. The myth of Satan says "personal responsibility" and God says "forgiveness is divine" and as long as one chooses one or the other, then they are wrong, because they are only half right. The truth is both, and a lot of other good stuff to boot. We are eternal. We are created by God. God is not vengeful. And Satan is a myth cooked up by those who wish to control our minds and keep us from the truth. The way the universe really works is that we need to take personal responsibility for our actions and forgive others as well. And this can very well be heaven if we all just stop being dicks to each other and stop praying to some higher power to fix it for us when we should be fixing it ourselves. Peace
