Watch the video in my last post. Luke was 3 or 4 blocks away when the blast happened. He went to the scene. Did not mention smell of gas. There was already a firetruck on the scene but police didn't arrive until 10 minutes after Luke started recording. People on the scene said it was a car, cars overturned. Windows blown out for blocks. Good citizen journalism.

The turned over cars are weird. But the seemingly widely dispersed area of the explosion, and the fact that there's no obvious epicenter point supports a gas explosion.
