Cats Keep Setting Off My Motion Detectors

When I had my cat, Tom-Tom, living with me at this house for about two months straight there were times when he would abruptly set it off. However there were also other times when it would just go off anyways. There was one night where I just went to bed, turned off the bedroom light while just sitting on the edge of my bed to get more onto it when I saw a pair of floating glowing eyes staring right at me. The pair of floating glowing eyes within two or three seconds' time lifted from a child's level to maybe about a young adult's eyes would be.

The eyes then darted partially through the wall and open door way and down the hallway and through the front door area. Well after the floating glowing eyes went down the hallway I could no longer see them but strongly felt where they were and where they went before vanishing out of this Plane of existence. The instant the eyes went through the front door area the house security alarm went off.

I got up almost immediately to turn back on my bedroom light. I looked at Tom-Tom and he had a very spooked look on his face while trying to hide on top of my bed. I went to go turn off the alarm and it was a quiet night thereafter. I should mention this all took within the span of maybe five seconds from the instant I saw the pair of floating glowing eyes too.

Floating eyeballs?!? Sounds like some naggers were burglarizing the place!

You need to get the adjustable and pet-proof motion detectors. We have several cats and a Sheepdog. The alarm installers adjusted the motion detectors for sensitivity over 70 lbs. No more false triggering of the alarm.

If you installed the system yourself, then you need to replace your motion detectors with the adjustable variety and do some testing to make sure the cats won't trigger it but an adult will.

No, the floating glowing eyes weren't attached to any physical body and they partially went through at least one wall before leaving the house.
