Let's make a bet. You will allow me to chain you up for a month providing you only with water and a few high nutritious foods but with less than 500 calories total daily. After a month, if you haven't lost at least 5kg, i will pay you 100k. If however you lose 5kg or more, you pay me 100k. deal? The "trick" about losing weight is NOT to try everything but instead simply do nothing as in NOT eat. Fast for a week with just water and a few vitamin pills, the laws of physics command that you will inevitably lose some weight as your body has to burn calories to sustain itself. |

You’re going the long way around the barn to cut out chemical sodium?? That’s good news Which part of not eating do you not understand? No matter what kind of metabolism you have and no matter what kind of food you eat... YES some people have metabolisms which allow them to gain weight easier and YES some foods are poison and promote gaining weight easier BUT even with bad food, there is a threshold amount of such food & bad metabolism combined where you would just break even. Going below that threshold amount you would INEVITABLY lose weight, the extreme being not eating anything at all but just drink water and fast. You however do not have to go to such extremes but simply lower the amount of whatever food you eat below that threshold. IF you wanted to speed up the process, you would compose a list of the most nutritious food, containing all nutrients/vitamins required for your body but is extremely low on calories and just drink water + eat about 500 to max 1000 calories daily of that high nutritious food. If you on top of that were to also exercise just a bit, you would lose more than 5kg per month easily and on top of that improve your well being and endurance. |

I just started looking at labels for sodium 2 weeks ago & I couldn't believe my eyeballs! Not only is it in everything...it's in massive amounts as well! So far I've found low levels in fruit, oatmeal, and coco wheats...that's it so far...but I'm still looking! If I am going to be damned...I am going to be damned for who I really am! |

You and OP are both incapable of lowering your calories intake to a point where you would lose weight inevitably. As a defense mechanism for failing to control yourselves, you become irrational and blame the food itself for your failures which in turn means that you are losing touch with reality, edging to become mentally ill. If you don't come to your senses and learn to control yourselves, you might cross the line from where there is no return. |

Starter Human User ID: 65691478 United States 02/11/2019 12:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | sodium triggers the dopamine response in the brain...it's the brain's internal reward currency of feeling the need to repeat the behavior, such as eating potato chips because no one can eat just one, yaknow? break your addition to sodium and you break your addiction to any food it's laced in. cocaine and heroine addicts don't create new addictions in the brain, they simply borrow your salt addiction pathway. the lack of sodium in food is why people don't like raw vegetables. place salt on them and bingo, you're addicted to them the same way a crack addict is to crack. trying to cut calories and nothing more is pure hell and cannot be sustained as long as you keep triggering the dopamine response in your brain that tells you to "do it again" until all the dopamine receptors are filled. hard to stop doing something the brain doesn't want stopped.
