This is the subject Paul is adressing: Where are the dead? ((1Th 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.)) 1Th 4:14 For ((if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.)) 1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep. 1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: (What is GOD'S trump? It is the last one, the 7th trump. Read Revelation. It is the end of all things. EVERYONE ON EARTH IS CHANGED AT THIS TIME.) and the dead in Christ shall rise first: (They will rise first BECAUSE they are already gone - when they died) 1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (Again, it said 'we which are alive and remain'. Did it say all us Christians? NO.) prevent: G5348 fthan'-o Apparently a primary verb; to be beforehand, that is, anticipate or precede; by extension to have arrived at: - (already) attain, come, prevent. |

It should read "in Clouds" NOT 'in [the] clouds. Interestingly, only the JW's Bible, the Weymouth, and Youngs Literal interprets it properly. Why is this in important? Because in Acts 1, Jesus ascended the same way and the angels said to look for Him to return the SAME way - further crushing the erroneous rapture doctrine. |

AERA - local air, kick the dust into air 2.) OURANEOUS - the heavenlies, way up in 4:17 the word used is AERA. So yes, His feet will touch the ground and the overcomers of the past 2000 years and current will receive the honor of the 1st resurrection to life (Rev 20:6) ON EARTH |

The bible says every eye shall see him when he comes. When the bible says it will come as a thief in the night it's not talking about his second coming it's talking about when he comes to our name to be judged. That is why it's so important not to put off making a decision to give your life to him till you start to see things really turning for the worse. I guess the main reason is cause no one even knows if they will be alive tomorrow! When he says he comes back and his feet touch the mount of olives it's talking about after the 1000 years and when that happens it will be with the saved that went with him when he came the first time and all the righteous were caught up to meet him in the air. For the 1000 years the earth has been desolate but the devil will be loosed from his chains. Not a real chain but a chain of circumstance meaning that there will be no one left on the earth to tempt for the 1000 years that the righteous will be in heaven with the Lord. Don't get tricked into thinking it's a Secret" event. The bible says the wicked will cry for the rocks and hills to fall on them to shield their eyes from seeing the holy man of God. Sin cannot live in the presence of a pure sinless and holy being. The saved will not be taken away b4 trouble starts but they will be protected during it. People get ready there's a train a comin |

People get ready there's a train a comin One major problem. John 6:44 says "No one can come to me (Jesus) unless the Father 'draws' him. 1.) "No one can come to me" No person can simply make a decision one day or at an alter call to 'come to Christ', the REAL Christ. If you were coerced through a religious ceremony or an alter call, you have likely been led to the WRONG Jesus. 2.) "Unless the Father draws him" The actual Greek work where 'draw' was inserted is HELKUO which means DRAG like one would drag a fishing net, not draw. So, if you have not been literally DRAGGED to Jesus through Divine revelation you likely worship the WRONG Jesus. 3.) The earth will NOT be desolate for 1000 years. In fact this thousand year period is the millenial rule and reign of Christ and His overcomers. Heaven was never intended for man (John 3:13) Earth is. Believe the scriptures |

I do believe that this earth will be the final home but that is not until the 1000 years has past. The Lord does not come back to this earth at the second coming the bible says that the saved are caught up to meet him in the air. It also says that the wicked are destroyed by the brightness of his coming. "Then we, which are alive and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1Thessalonians 4:17. |

Once again, it's 'in clouds' and local air. Careful with literal interpretation, especially English converted from Greek. Rev. 20:4 tells us that those who inherit the first resurrection are those who have been "beheaded." So does John imply a literal beheading? Being crucified with Christ has to do with an inner process of the heart. It involves losing one's own "head" (i.e., mind and will) and receiving a new Head, which is Jesus Christ. If it were not so, then Jesus Himself would have had to die by beheading, rather than by crucifixion, for He established the pattern death. |
