Anonymous Coward User ID: 77339822 United States 02/28/2019 04:32 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | [link to www.zerohedge.com (secure)] Quoting: TIO JUAN PIRG tested five wines, 14 beers and one hard cider for the study. The wine brands were Barefoot, Beringer, Frey (organic), Inkarri Estates (organic), and Sutter Home. The beers tested were from Budweiser, Coors, Corona, Guinness, Heineken, Miller, Peak (organic), Sam Adams, Samuel Smith (organic), Sierra Nevada, Stella Artois, Tsingtao and New Belgium. Ace Perry Hard Cider was also tested. The study determined that popular beers like Coors, Budweiser, and Corona Extra contained an average of roughly 28 parts per billion (ppb). Tsingtao, the outlier, contained a whopping 49.7 ppb. While the results are below the EPA’s risk tolerances for alcoholic beverages, at least one study noticed that as little as one part per trillion of glyphosate can trigger the growth of breast cancer cells and disrupt the endocrine system. The findings indicate that glyphosate contamination is widespread in over-the-counter beers and wine. Americans should take the appropriate action by avoiding the alcoholic beverages mentioned in the study. You are PAYING to give yourself cancer. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 76941105 United States 02/28/2019 06:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's what is causing people so many gastro problems. People make fun of those who are Celiac and gluten intolerant but you won't be laughing when one day soon you have to avoid all that shit too. The trendies ruined that for all the people who legit are having problems. Those people make people with a serious disease like Celiac look silly and when these people who absolutely cannot have gluten go out to eat, the servers don't take them seriously |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 76941105 United States 02/28/2019 06:55 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's not GMO's. It's that the GMO's have been designed to continue living when they are soaked in poison so that it can end up on your dinner table. Otherwise the plant would die just like anything else that is soaked with the shit |

How anybody could think that this is safe for human beings to eat is beyond me. And I think the practice is much, much, much more commonplace than is being reported. I think there is going to be a point where there is a kind of exponential accumulation in people's bodies and the human population is just going to start dying off in massive quantities at some point in the future |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26736700 Why spend the money? Now you know why it's really called 'roundup'. Good point! It’s disturbing that several of the tested ORGANIC brands also contain glyphosate. The problem is that the soil and underground aquafirs are heavily contaminated, so even though a wheat farm or grape vineyard can use organic materials and methods, the plants are absorbing the glyphosate from the ground that was poisoned by previous treatment with RoundUp. . |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 76941105 United States 02/28/2019 07:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If you can harvest your crop early and then start growing more or something different or just hit the road and go on vacation so that you can make more money... what do you think you are going to do? You're gonna spray and soak that shit get it out and just try to keep that on the down low and not feed it to your children. Because no matter how much you spray your crops are GMO so you can just keep growing garbage and spray and soak all you want |

We should be taking a closer look at where certain people get their produce and who's investing in hydroponics outside of the pot industry. |
