Suburbian areas just outside of Houston's are Trump's kind but if you live right in Houston, it tends to be under Democrat rule. It is a HUGE city. You literally have to drive an hour just to get out of houston. There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. |

You'll love the Liberty area. Far enough away from downtown but still close enough to the loop if you need to traverse there. I was there last month and was impressed with the stars & stripes flying on what seemed like every other house... You fly a Union Flag or an St Georges Cross in the UK and you're labelled a racist. Not true... just more proportionally in the mix. The climate is a little hot and humid, but at least there are jobs, conservative people and good living amenities. I would only caution you to study floodplain maps if you want to buy a home there. Texas floods and gets other bad weather. I would take my time looking and rent for a while until you’re sure you like it and it works for you. Also be aware that there are just as many gooney cults over here as there are in UK, just as many insane gender inverted masonic lunatics all over the place, including gov & corporate. I would trust no one. I would buy a firearm and KNOW how to use it, but be very quiet about owning that. If you have a family, you will also want to pay close attention to their safety. Texas is currently experiencing a huge influx of new residents, as people pour out of other states due to high cost of living and taxes. |

Rabbit In The Hat User ID: 77047002 United States 03/27/2019 08:42 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was born & raised in Texas, but have lived in many different states across the US. I have always come back home as quickly as possible. This time I have no reasons or desire to leave again. I’ve lived in the NE Piney Woods, DFW & now in the San Antonio area. I love the Hill Country but I highly recommend the Piney Woods as well. Welcome to Texas! **Edited to add... My neighbors are Brits who moved here 30+ years ago. They love Texas & go back to GB every couple of years to visit. They vow to never return for the very reasons you want to leave. That said, they are thinking about moving because the Texas heat is really bothering them now that they are getting older (65+). They are looking for a more moderate climate.
