in the last midterms, we were seeing boxes of paper ballots show up from almost every source and being accepted as legitimate votes. I can see that happening in blue states.

In red states, not so much.

The way the precinct system is set up, its very difficult to defraud any single precinct by more than a few percentage points. The fraud becomes very apparent when compared to historical data. What needs to be closely monitored are the large urban cities in otherwise red states and/or swing states, that delay announcing their tallies until last, (IE: Broward County, FL or Philadelphia, PA). Alot of times the urban precincts will try to wait and see how many votes they need to come up with to win the state before "finding" boxes of uncounted or provisional ballots in some vacant office or car trunk.

The fraud in 2020 will be unprecedented.

The electoral votes in solid blue states like CA and NY are a given tho. They may be able to use these tactics to steal House and Senate races but not POTUS . Trump could lose by 20 million votes in CA but it wouldn't count for any more electoral votes than if he'd lost by 1. The Dems aren't going to waste resources there. They are going to expend all of their efforts in cities like Philly, Detroit, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Miami / Ft Lauderdale. etc. where they can get the most fraud for their buck and where the urban chaos makes it very difficult to police them.
