Hello OP. I appreciate your kind and novel offer and I would like to tell you my problem.

I cannnot prepare for the future because whenever I visualize my future, I see an intense wall of fear. Consequently I cannot plan practically and tend to be pessimistic about my potential, which leaves me stuck in a series of low-level jobs and boring life paths because I did not make systematic plans to achieve goals. I am also addicted to linguistics like English and ancient Japanese, as well as Medieval Buddhist Theology; all I do is read ancient texts and lose myself in elaborate visualizations of perfect dreamworlds. I need to harness this ability to read and study but turn it to something more practical that will get me a better job so I am not a broke-ass loser with a library card and a bus pass. How can I focus more on planning an organized, semi-fruitful future without anxiety? Thanks in advance.

It seems that things will improve if you open up more to others, presenting YOUR TRUTH. Perhaps it is this idea of "telling the truth of the matter" is creating your "wall of fear". This is of course, yours to interpret, but the questions below might help you turn onto a new path. One question concerns "visions for the future"; visualization is a fantastic aid (and it seems that the worlds which fascinate you are part of this), but must also be acted upon, step by small step. It is no use having a beautiful idea if it remains an idea. Talk to others about your dreams. The more you state your intent, and go into action, the more opportunities will automatically (due to the law of cause and effect) will come into line. But you must start the ball rolling. Also, there are many very valuable teachings in Buddhism which are worthy of being COMMUNICATED TO OTHERS. You could be that COMMUNICATOR ....

A note on fear: this is a feeling building up ABOUT SOMETHING WHICH HAS NOT HAPPENED. You, through your actions, determine what happens. If you are fearful of something, THAT SOMETHING WILL BE DRAWN TO YOU (again, the same law of cause and effect). Anything can change in a moment, if we change our thoughts. Hope this helps ....

Hello Citizen Perth: whatever your issue is, it appears that something or some circumstance or some feeling or person needs to be INTEGRATED, as you have intuitively chosen the quality of INTEGRATION. Here are some questions which may help to give a new perspective:

What if nothing you see, overhear, feel or encounter happens by chance and has essentially something to do with yourself, pointing you in a spiritual direction?
Is there some violence of which you are unaware? Are you violent towards yourself?
How do you define “madness”? Do you call someone “mad” because you fear losing control?
Do you tend to see what is “possible” and then make choices within those parameters, or do you tend to decide what you want and trust that you will be able to create a way to do it?
Is anyone “too old”, “too young” or or “too poor” to follow their dreams?
What irrational and impossible dream are you going to visualize and manifest next?
What if everyone worldwide interpreted their surroundings and fellow humans as a part of themselves?

Thank you OP not sure it applies to the problem I had in mind.

I think those close to me might think I self express too much, often dropping insights that make them uncomfortable so they call me nuts. I don’t mind as I know it is the information they are uncomfortable with, but sometimes with time other things happen to them, or around them and they start thinking hmmm maybe there is truth on what you said. Funny thing is even if this happens several times it doesn’t stop them labeling the next thing you drop as nuts.

Hello AC: I did not quite understand all that, but here are some thoughts which arise:
Greed is indeed a central problem. If everyone took ONLY WHAT THEY NEED, and if everyone FREELY MADE A DAILY CONTRIBUTION TO SOCIETY, then we would not need to money system, for example, which is a major tool of corruption, manipulation and power.

With "the son of man", I assume you are referring to Jesus - a very important messenger. He is not the anti-Christ. Everyone who does not act in a "divine" manner is the anti-Christ.

Law of the sun? There is COSMIC LAW (law of the one, last of balance, law of cause and effect).

Yes, I would say that 50%or more are "soulless" in the sense that they have not developed a conscience, and in the sense that they do not make any "moral choices". This is not only because they choose not to - i.e. have bad intent - but also because our DNA has been grossly manipulated - see it as a degeneration of the human gene pool.

And finally, you mention the quality of fire. Erroneously, this is often designated as falling into "hell", yet fire is a purifying agent; and most would agree that this world needs purifying.
