Social distancing has not really been occurring. The supermarkets and other stores still open have plenty of people co-mingling without gloves or masks.

I don't know I completely believe that at this point. What if they don't know any more than us? Doubtful, but you never know.

I'll make a prediction.

No matter what happens in 15 days, and no matter if the virus suddenly vanishes completely in some other time frame, the MSM will continue to actively pump the fear for three main reasons, all the way up to the election.

1. So the packed POTUS rallies can't restart, robbing him of the Biden rally comparisons, the visuals of packed stadiums, and the exuberance that they bring to his base.

2. So Biden has an excuse to not hold rallies himself, which, if not stopped, will provide countless more examples of his glaring mental decline.

3. To try to keep the stock market down, for a myriad of reasons, all beneficial to the Dems.

You won't have to get the vaccine.
You will be given an option.
Vaccine and a chip or starve.

I will lose my mind.

After the 15 days everything will be in position to make an actual lockdown happen. Once cabin fever sets in people will start moving around, governor’s will try to stop it but it won’t work. They will ask for the governments help controlling their people.

That is why the governor’s are in charge right now, when the time is right that “heavy hand” talked about in tonight’s press conference will go to work.

At that point shit will get intense.

I'm also not scared of the virus but of all of these other things that are happening.

I think the virus has already spread a lot and in the next few weeks things will look uglier but it will help to push people into real social distancing. Once that occurs it will be a few more weeks of high numbers of new cases and then it will start to tail off.

As far as I’m concerned there isn’t much we can do at this point in the usa. We are going to take our lumps and while that sucks we should say fak it and let it spread and get the economy going.

People are going to die from this and that sucks but more may end up in poverty or in riots, suicides and tons of other social crisis over the economic fallout due to the panic and fear. This country should go on a war effort to produce the material required to deal with the health issues - a ventilator production line should have already been fast tracked and other similar items. Even if they are crude at first and become more refined in time but no our leaders are talkers not doers. The cdc spends billions per year, for what, salaries and a bunch of grab ass? Where are our stockpiles of basic medical supplies? What a sham

And Trudeau is actually being quite cordial when he's talking about Trump, so it's all just very confusing. He's certainly not making him out to be a bad guy at all. After 2 weeks anybody who is infected "should" be showing symptoms.

So far, the people who were showing symptoms have been tested and 10% of them tested positive. 90% showing symptoms tested negative.

That's a really good sign!

But just a few who wont cooperate can ruin it for us all & then we need to do it all over again.

We need the government to take more freedoms to keep us from harming ourselves.

We should have mandated diet and exercise programs as well. Fear of imprisonment could really get us all into shape.

Short answer is that what the US is doing will not work. It’ll slow it, but we’ll still end up exceeding the number of beds and ventilators.

For this to work, they need to follow the suppression model, like Spain, Italy, China, Colombia, Argentina, etc. Over the next 14 days you are going to see the United States zoom past other countries and lead the world in infections. Only a mandatory, national quarantine will stop it, and even then, it’s a temporary stop.
