For human biochemistry to have functional metabolism, then the body is using organic molecules of building blocks from the foods you digest. So it then takes those to make other molecules it needs to make acids and pancreatic enzymes and most everything. So suddenly the patient is not providing the body with these and so the products of metabolism are not made. Thus every process that makes red blood cells and white blood cells and stomach lining andso forth then are halted or serioualy compromised. Thus the patient can't function well and gets progressively weaker and prone to infections and can't fight disease. The organs are not as perfused with blood and become incompetent. Elements like the heart valves can be damaged. With stomach acid and no rebuilding of the stomach lining, then ulcers can form. The patient's blood sugar gets low and stays low. They feel listless yet typically are working harder.

If they stand up suddenly, they can pass out and wake up on the ground.

They're a potential source of protein.

If you take graduate level biochemistry, you study every aspect of the various metabolic pathways. If you don't have the precursors from food, the body will rob Peter to pay Paul from human tissue to keep things going for awhile. Eventually it cannot do so and so has prioritize just to do basic things like make the body control temperature and maintain respiration and heart rate to perfuse organs and maintain brain function. Eventually the patient loses their consciousness,then loses eyesight, goes comatose, then organ failure, then death.

It depends on the person and how they starve. Ultimately lipolysis happens so those who are obese can live longer, but realize they are poor shape and doing heavy labor, so may tax their heart and have a cardiac arrest as their cardiac cycle and electrolytes are all out of whack.

And what does it mean to survive? They may be so listless they cannot get out of bed and so get dehydrated and may die of that. They get so hypoglkycemic that they get ketoacidosis as gluconeogenesis cannibalizes their muscle tissue. Eventually their respiration is severely labored and they could die without medical intervention...especially if diabetic.

The basic unit of energy in human beings is ATP adenosine triphosphate. Well a little is made by glycolosis, but mostly is made by eating protein. So the body dissolves the bonds so protein breaks down to amino acids. That then in the Kreb's cycle cranks out ATP.

So insufficient sugar itake causes low blood sugar, but also protein is needed to make ATP.

To make your muscles work requires ATP. So a starving person is not making enough and feels lightheaded. But doesn't have the energy to chop wood or haul water. So the brain REQUIRES glucose as fuel so they are brain addled amd think, "I will rest and come back and chop wood and haul water when I have more energy". But never follow through. Starving people they can barely function and have lots of accidents, pass out, don't feel like doing anything, have noenergy so feel immediately exhausted.

What we are witnessing is the end of 500 years white rule.

Africa and Asia are now emerging as cultural superpowers.

Whites are now on the retreat in all areas, mainly as a result of developments in Asia and Africa (like the spread of Afro-centrism there), but also as a result of developments within Western societies.

All that whites built the last 500 years is now collapsing.

Their Euro-centric worldview is losing influence around the world, their cultural and economic influences are declining at an alarming rate, their international institutions are discredited, they are about to lose control over money and the global financial system, ...

Really, very disturbing developments from their perspective.

In terms of culture, we could soon have a situation in the world that we had 500 years ago before European colonialism. A kind of contraction of European influence after a 500 years period of expansion.

With starvation, what usually happens is parents freak out and do criminal acts so their kids don't starve. They can handle statrving themselves, but not witnessing hungry children. They will break the law to steal what little they can find.

Starving people in history panicked and did silly things like went out in winter trying anything to catch an animal or get many fish. But these activities require energy to think clearly (blood glucose) and ATP to energize muscles. So they probably fail or barely make up the work calories expended.

And what happened frequently were accidents and getting lost and dying of exposure. Nobody can go alone as they can in trouble, so both of them were using up calories and probably fail. Smart animals are hibernating.

This is why our ancestors had full pantries. They could get snowed in or lose their jobs or get sick and there was no welfare, just charity from churches.

This is a logistics study for the USA regarding Just in Time Inventory controls and how much material is on hand and a time line when it runs out.

I would bet the figures are similar in the UK and so it probably would be useful imformation.

For example, the food will run out in 3-4 days depending on the degree it is communicated as many will be blissfully unaware. Most likely groceries chains limit sales of certain items. Then there won't be any unless the food distribution warehouse has items in stock. If so, you probably have 6-8 days total.

Your biggest concerns would be fuel for utilities, water purification from.chlorine analogues, prescription drugs, and fuel for vehicles.

20% of UK electricity is generated from nuclear power stations, so there's that potential issue. France is in far worse shape as 75% of their electricity is from nuclear power.

Why does nuclear power matter? What if the operators get sick?

What if there is an issue and they have to shutdown and so citizens in winter have no heat or can keep their refrigerator operating or can cook?

At most, the UK has 4 operating coal fired generating plants. The rest (about 50) are natural gas electricity generating plants BUT only 43% of the natural gas supply is domestic....whoops.
