The earthquake swarm is occurring mainly in the Western part of Cumbre Vieja - the precise part where an eruption might trigger a massive landslide.

Some scientists see this as an unlikely event, in low percentage numbers (between 5-10%); others see it as a certainty. But even if the first ones are right and the latest are wrong, given the massive and altering impacts that this will bring to the US/Europe/South America/Eastern Africa it should be something to keep an eye on.

BTW, I am now in one of the Canaries, I'm the least interested in this to happen, because I would surely die if this were to happen.

Wasn't there a thread last week about some of the NOAA buoys being offline more than 8 hours? That could be problematic in detecting incoming tsunamis.

The National Data Buoy Center shows several (esp. in the Gulf of Mexico) that haven't reported data for > 8 hours.

Ok listen up. I hate posting this, most every president in the USA for the past 70 years has been threatened with this. They threatened to bomb it, and nuke it.

Any nukes that go off will probably be traced to the USA thanks to Obama, Hillary and Kerry, and the uranium they sold Russia,...and Russia sold to others.

Change "blood" to "death" and it makes sense.

I'm hoping this referenced a nuke not some volcano collapsing. Far less deadly

If LAP went, it would wipe out the UK, and all of the East coast USA. South America would also take a hit. Panama, etc. Water would go up to 200mi inland, and travel much further up river systems. Then we have 30+ nuke reactors in its path.
