You may not be able to buy physical silver if it is all sold out but you can buy SLV and hurt the hedgefunds that are shorting SLV trying to keep the silver prices low.

I don't like the taste or texture of silver. And I question its nutritional value. It's not what I would stockpile in preparation for the collapse of society. And you're just gonna end up trying to give me gold for some of my food but I'm afraid you will never have enough silver to buy even a single meal from me.

I'm not sure it will be enough to overcome the massive buffer of paper silver in people's 401k's.

The 401k system is Wall Street insurance. The GameStop and AMC stocks were not traded in the 401k realm.

Just my personal thoughts and concerns. If we start seeing knee jerk reactions from some of those trading companies, then we'll know it's having an effect.

You borrow it. It's not lunacy. people buy stock. They don't take the certificate, the broker has it. They have a big pile of everyone's IBM stock. Some people might sell it today, so they need to have that much, but some others will buy today so that adds to the pile. SOOOOOoooo, they will loan you some IBM stock to sell. You owe them IBM stock, not money. You pay them back by buying back as much as you borrowed. If you buy back cheaper you made money, if you buy back higher you lost money. Naked means you are in a privileged position where you can cheat, even though you aren't supposed to, and you can sell shares you didn't borrow, you just hit a sell button and pretend you had the shares. Market goes against you? No problem just sell more. That works until it doesn't.

The comex will borrow china's silver bullion horde and panic dump it.
