Anonymous Coward User ID: 72523308 United States 02/08/2021 11:01 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Not all diamonds are worth lots of money as they have used diamonds as an industrial product for a long time for a variety of uses such as drill bits, in some laser technology. Someone mentioned that diamonds can be made in an industrial process, but still an expensive process and requiring lots of energy so this is still used to provide the consumer type so not feasible for the potential here. An interesting use of the waste product from nuclear technology but I can imagine it is still awhile before it can be utilized much less acceptable to the general population from the fear of the waste, and the safety issues involved |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 61146395 United States 02/08/2021 11:03 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why is Cartel afraid of AC's? It's because he knows dogshit about nuclear power lol. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76405025 cuz one time his profile posted 3+ pages of threads within just a couple of minutes and every thread was a full on news link w/ synopsis and was articles from all aroudn the world. i wasnt sure how he did that, but i started noticing ppl call him out. soon after he banned ACs |

Radio-active material fused into diamonds, then encased in diamonds.... lol How will this ever be able to pay itself back? Of course, if such a battery is really able to last for thousands of years... then it might not be a bad idea, and even exorbitant prices might be justified. [link to www.electronicsforu.com (secure)] PS. I opened this thread as the OP of linked thread did not allow AC's to comment. So you create a radioactive diamond. Great. Now wtf are you going to do with it? You need to use the diamond to heat water to boiling, then use a stream turbine and generator to convert that heart energy into electricity. REAL EFFICIENT. NOT. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14954737 There's a few interesting and cheapish solutions that feel like if you just put them together in the right combination you're golden. That said, nuclear battery tech like this is actually still really viable and useful though. Assuming you can get the efficiency up enough for example you could have forever optic batteries for your rifle. That would be immensely useful. roguetechie |
