Ok why should someone stop using fluoride toothpaste?

you always recover when you quit something. there is no such thing as eternal damnation, only eternal stupidity if you choose. relax OP, quit the fluoride, and eventually you won't need it anymore... nor even remember about it. that state of mind will coincide more or less with when you are no longer "affected" by it.

What kind of toothpaste are you using? To my experience, non fluoride toothpaste is pricy.

What I don't understand, is how all of the goobers on GLP that decide to stop ingesting flouride are still here, years later posting the same demented drivel? What health benefits have they gained? Are they actually healthier? Are they thinking more rationally, deeper about important issues close to themselves?

Are they going to live longer? Maybe, but who wants to live longer when you can't get laid by any decent looking chick because you have bad teeth and run-on sentences?

Keep using fluoride and aspartame products. We don't care.

Apparently it's in all water...how is a person supposed to not ingest fluoride if it is in all things we ingest?

OP, I haven't used fluoride based toothpaste in over a year, and my teeth are so clean, I don't even need to go for cleanings anymore!! You can buythe non fluoridated toothpaste froma any healthstore, or you can just brush your teeth with a mixture of sea salt and warm water. Works very effectively!

This makes me furious.

My part of the country doesn't have health food stores. I have been able to order it online...now I'm trying to figure out how to drink water without fluoride in it and apparently that's impossible in the U.S.

Just brush your teeth with with sea salt and water then, the salt will dissolve the bacteria. Rinse your mouth a couple of times a day with this solution, and it will keep plaque from forming. For drinking, spring water has very low levels of fluoride, so switch to that. If you want to keep it off your skin too, then get a reverse osmosis filter. There's only so much we can do unfortunately.

i have been brushing my teeth with padorax (without fluoride) and its been great one time i was staing at my family and brushed my teeth with normal toothpaste, had a mighty headache the next day :/

Flouride is a by-product of aluminim refinement. it was TRASH until someone "sold" it to america.


Prior it was used as a sedative in Nazi and STalin prison-camps.

Fluoride makes you bipolar. Nuff said.

Try Green Beaver toothpaste. All natural, no fluoride.

I have been using it for close to 2 years now.

No cavities, shiny white teeth, and NO sensitivity problems that I used to have when using fluoride anti-sensitivity toothpaste.

Maybe that's why California is in a mess. Only 27% of the state is fluoridated.

You have to be drugged to be fully controlled.

Look for a place with a good well and fill your own containers.

Still looking for a shower-head filter that will reduce the new type of chlorine our water department is using (chloramines).

If you are going to the effort of reducing fluoride then lose the chlorine also :-)
