For myself, it´s my heart straight to my God. Period. And I have tried many religions, but since man himself is fallible and weak, it always plays out the same, with me being once again disallusioned and disenchanted.

God knows me and loves me, and I know Him and lean on His Love, Grace, Support and Protection.

Treat others as you wish to be treated, and love God with your whole heart, mind, soul and being, and everything else will fall into place.

That is the TRUE Golden Rule.

I truly believe this. I don't go to church. When I do (which is very rarely, I am usually dragged there) I find it hard to listen to anything that they say. I believe that if I wanted to pray or worship in anyway shape or form there's a perfectly good tree outside my house in which to do it, or just pray within myself. If I am supposed to pray in the house of god then it better be the true house of god, not in something that was built by man. I can't bring myself to absolutely believe in a religion, because any religion, doesn't matter how you look at it can be falsified. I find it best to remain neutral in every aspect of this world. There are so many things we don't understand and can't even begin to comprehend, so who is right - who knows? Is your religion the absolute truth? PROVE IT!

Jesus specifically taught to pray in private, and was constantly ditching the disciples to hit up a mountain top for some meditative relaxation with the Father. Churches and denominations are a good start as is doctrines, etc - but everyone including Paul, Jesus, and the anonymous writer of Hebrews acknowledges the initiate side of the teaching for the spiritually advanced(I definitly believe it relates to light coming into you, somehow through Jesus and Faith establishing a direct line to God/Father/Universal Mind if you will.)

Seriously do Christians read their own Bibles, this is from Hebrews (and is not some secret Scroll or text)

1Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

The Bible is a book. A bunch of paper wraped in a cover. It has been rewritten and passed down so much that who knows what is true and what is not. Even though they read it and truly believe it, they are to drowned in their own perception to keep an open mind and relise that it is just a book and we can't honestly say that it is the true word of god.

The funny thing is that I think it's in Revelations, the Bible even states that in the "End Times" the christians won't even be found in the churches. Won't these church monkeys be surprised! Personally, it ain't happening anyway but I still like ripping on xtians....seen WAYYYYYYY too much hypocrisy in people around me.

I have fallen far from god of my own will, I once held love for this being who only loves conditionally. I have endured pain and suffering (even when my faith was strong) which no man should ever have to endure - I do not accuse god of causing this, but I accuse him of letting it happen - free will lets us make our own choices, what if accepting help from god is our choice? Every discussion falls back to it being "god's Plan" which if god indended for the pain that myself and countless others who have endured so much more than me, I cannot respect him in the least. Though I live my life by a code of what is right and wrong that is similar to god's, I will not live my life for a being that judges those who don't live their lives for him, that is the epitomy of selfishness

To be blinded by the sins and flaw of man to pass judgement on the church is to take out of context everything this text stands for. Be strong in faith and know that yes the Kingdom of heaven Is all around you and that you should carry the Lord in your heart at all times. But you cannot believe and pick and choose what you belive for that is not true faith. I lend these words not to pass judgement but to provide a diffrent type of understanding. I too feel that the church is flawed but that is because man is flawed. We all fall short of the Glory of God. But Im actively trying to make it better. I participate in the outreach ministry at my church but I also Co-founded an orginazation outside of the church to help those in my community who suffer from illnesses and need assistance. I might only be able to help one family at a time, but I am doing what the Lord has asked of me. I have stepped out on faith many times and I have never fallen. Let us as believers stop looking at the flaws and passing judgement but take a posistion and stand to change them. It is our duty and our calling to compeal as many lost souls as we all can to the Lord. The end of times are coming and fellowship is more important now than ever. Sunday only christians have done us all a great disservice. How but those of us who live right the rest of the week too do something about it. Be blessed.

Jesus is present in a Church of stone or wood, in the tabernacle. He is present in the Holy Eucharist there. When we receive the sacred host, the Holy Eucharist, we receive Jesus. You are right about the Kingdom of God is inside you, God Himself is inside you.
