They're a cult. They don't believe that Jesus is God. Their founder was an ex-Freemason.

Because they knock on your door, and if you do start to communicate with them, they don't have the manners to listen, only search for the correct passage to back up their point.

I dislike them dropping by my house unannounced and aggressively discussing topics that we will be unable to reach an agreement.

I, also dislike the baptist, methodist, etc. outreach programs that do this.

Well, hate is a strong word, but...

Any one who is dumb enough to beat on my front door the entire time I take a 20 minute crap deserves what happens when I open it...

How do you know for sure it's the word of God? Do you commune one on one with the creator?

Priests get angry when they are exposed as teaching man's customs instead of Bible truths, so they tell their congregation the the JW's have their own Bible and not to listen to them.

The religious leaders in Jesus day did the same to him and his followers, even having Jesus killed.....

PLUS they smell weird..like that Goodwill smell..if you were blind folded and some one took you into a Goodwill, you could smell where you were..

I don't hate people trying to spread God's word; I truly dislike and don't want to listen to people who tell me that I will go to hell because I don't believe in their particular brand of religion.

Why can't people just give out God's loving words without castigating others if they don't join their particular club that they will spend eternity in Hell? What makes their club better than another club? Why have clubs in the first place?

Jesus stated that the greatest commandment was to love one another and to love God. Jesus' message was about accepting others, to treat others fairly, to love everyone. It makes me sad that so many have turned Jesus' messages of love into a "member's only" club.

The guys who come to my door usually have a CIA vibe. And very limited knowledge of the Bible. I'm not a Bible thumper, but these guys are biblically challenged, and seem to expect everyone else not to realize it.

Yeah, two black guys came to my house kooking and looked like "men in black" from the UFO movies with nice suits and shades. I threw some annunaki stuff on them and they were convinced I was as crazy as a loon and couldn't wait to leave with me following them trying to get the lasy word in. Haven't seen them since.

Really, I don't hate all of them, my mother has some Finnish ones visit her, and we can sit around the coffee and cake and discuss intelligently and we even agree at times

They're just very annoying. For instance for the past 10 years or so, the same woman and her friends (who are interchangeble) have been trying to get their foot in my door. I find it difficult to be rude, so they keep coming. One time I was behind her in the hardware store and she didn't recognize me, so I asked her if she'd like to hear the good news about Jesus. She just looked at me as if I was really bothering her and sort of ran away. I laughed my ass off, my daughter was with me and she thought it was hilarious as well. Really, they need to knock it off.

Their religion especially shuts down critical thinking. Moreso than Xianity. You cannot question the Goobering Body.

At the same time, its no big. I believe people who become/stay JWs cannot think for themselves to begin with. They need big bro to think for them.
