Agree completely...have you read 'Worlds in Collision'? Another good book for those that are interested is 'The Science Delusion'(Rupert Sheldrake)...sums up what i feel about why science is becoming a religion, and hand-cuffing itself.. science is being corrupted, and is corrupting our kids, grandkids and future generations...we need to go back to realising that we know nothing...we need to approach science with an open mind, not a mind that thinks it knows the answers, and simply seeks the proof for them.... sorry for the 'nerdrage'... Peace Many forget that it is the theory of relativity. The theory of evolution. The theory of Karma. The list is huge, just google "the theory of" and see what happens! joinca User ID: 8793176 United States 08/22/2012 12:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Researchers gear up for NASA radiation belt space mission The University of Colorado Boulder will play a key role in a NASA mission launching this week to study how space weather affects Earth's two giant radiation belts known to be hazardous to satellites, astronauts and electronics systems on Earth. The Radiation Belt Storm Probes, or RBSP, mission will study the invisible, doughnut-shaped regions above Earth known as the Van Allen radiation belts that are filled with high- energy electrons and protons, some of which are darting at roughly the speed of light. CU-Boulder, which will receive more than $18 million from NASA over the mission lifetime, designed and built an instrument to capture and measure the high-energy, or "killer," electrons and an intricate electronics package for another instrument suite to measure changes in the electric and magnetic fields in the belts.
