After careful review of the stereo slideshow, I have come to the conclusion that it appears as if the Comet did cause an CME on the opposite side of impact.

They have the current images ElQ, thy are just not adding them to update the public site

Thanks NIN, I was able to see the impact via Stereo Ahead COR2. It does appear as if the impact caused an CME on the opposite side. What is your assessment?

Just saw that update. Thanks will check for now on. You are saying the comet did appear to have caused a CME so would that CME be facing earth? I am thinking that one if indeed its confirmed will not be earth facing.
