I'd picture them all winding around one another forming a giant braid of Magnetized Plasma..I wonder if it possible that such a thing could happen yet still remain tethered to the Suns' 'surface' making a giant Filament that reaches out through the Solar System!? The sun is finishing a cycle that calls for a future minimum. We will see some big events as the southern hemi. flips. these may be big and bad. Then it could get very cold for awhile.Our magnetosphere will not handle any large events,we've got other energies in our system causing problems(for us), normalcy, for a galactic cycle. Eyes and hearts open my friends!
