Hope you feel better SC! Seems like something is going around! EVERYWHERE agreed, I was sick last week as well! On the mend this week but the last day or so have felt a ton of anxiety/pressure in my chest area, idk if its barometric pressure changes or what but it is not comfortable! |

psyoptics User ID: 11919225 United States 01/04/2013 06:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | TS can you clarify what you are referring to when you say it's not making any sense? Quoting: ANHEDONIC The deterioration of earth facing sunspots, only to have them go berserker on the far side, regardless of their classification. It makes no sense. The idea that there were some electrical, magnetic pull, or other anomaly, even the galactic center itself was creating this scenario did not appeal to my sense of logic, until it seems as if there is no other reasoning behind it. I assumed that last fall we would begin to see greater solar activity, as we had the fall of 2011, you know seasonal planetary configuration with the sun etc .... and there was none. We are running out of excuses as to why earth facing sunspots die until they rotate over the western limb. Of course it does not help that half of the data we use to see what is happening back there is suddenly unavailable ... Very frustrating. I don't participate in a lot of theory, and depend on facts, but I listen to all of them for future use, and at times even in corroboration to the evidence/facts, but without the data .... well maybe I'll feel better tomorrow Still seems to be some activity on the farside of the sun Quoting: TS66 from yesterday [link to www.sidc.oma.be] and bigger on 1/1 [link to www.sidc.oma.be] I know it was discussed in earlier posts, but did anyone find a correlation between which side of the sun may be facing the galactic center while passing the galactic equator ?? Nothing else in my mind is making any sense. SOHO is down too !!! [link to stereo-ssc.nascom.nasa.gov] My paranoid mind is kicking in; are we systematically being cut off from data ??? a thought i have on this using the "sun moving through space" presentation by Nassim [link to www.youtube.com] we have no way of knowing where Earth is in rotation using the model in the above video but if you go to the 1:23 or 1:24 mark on the video kk keeping in mind the sun is moving tword the galactic center, thats on the exact right center of your screen/monitor then turn your screen so that your viewing the image with earth at the bottom middle, with the sun directly above/in front of it so that now your viewing it all from the SDO view see what area of the sun is facing galactic center? this could explaine the solar tsunami we saw on that eastern backside of the sun the last week in Dec 2012 and why today we are now seeing all these sunspots form in that same area Nice correlation Nin !! Galactic equator/center > solar tsunami > exponential increase of solar regions ... interesting. been my belief ever since we noticed this die off and the backside eruptions. can anyone actually place our sun in the galaxy? really know just where we are....exactly where and how far above the galactic equator.....traveling just where....with what kind of rotation....anyone? please do not just so me a picture! a good video editor can make anyone say anything the editor wants. |

This is also what I've been taught, with Alcyone being the central star in the pleiades “One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Regions Due to Return 05 Jan to 07 Jan Nmbr Lat Lo None AR1640-Still Growing! :1/5-1640: Yippeee! Not to boast too loudly, but I was right about the 2 CMEs today. from the NOAA Discussion: Solar Activity-24 hr Summary... Solar activity was low. Regions 1640 (N28W48) and 1650 (S26E77) were both responsible for low level C1 flares at 04/0053 UTC and 04/1308 UTC, respectively. Region 1640 continued to show growth and maintains a beta-gamma-delta magnetic class. The X-ray background has increased from yesterdays value of B3.5 to approximately B8.4. New flux emergence was observed southwest of 1640 and southeast of 1646. These new regions were numbered as 1647 (N16W55) and 1648 (N05E53). Two new Hsx/alpha regions rotated around the southeast limb and were numbered as 1649 (S14E74) and 1650 (S26E77). Region 1651 (N19E48), a simple Axx/alpha spot was also numbered. Two CMEs were observed in STEREO A COR2 imagery at 04/0924 UTC and 04/1424 UTC. The first was likely associated with flare activity from Region 1639 (S16W38) at 04/0831 UTC. The second appeared to be from an area on the southeast quadrant of STEREO A EUVI 195 imagery at 04/1355 UTC. Current LASCO imagery shows the second CME, which is less likely to be geoeffective given its proximity to the soutwest limb. We are waiting on further imagery to determine geoeffectiveness of the first CME. .Forecast... Solar activity is expected to be low with a chance for M-class flares during the forecast period (05-07 Jan). The most likely region to produce M-class flares is 1640.
