From the start, my gut instinct told me this was bad.
Last night, when I heard the American ships had been pulled back...that was all the confirmation I needed to go into disaster mode.

It's obvious that the msm knows more than they are telling us on the networks. Just watch the body language and tone of voice. This has been going on for several days. I haven't even turned on CNN etc. today because it's just babble. I'm sticking right here.

Funny how we all have talked doom for so long as a possibility and now, when really facing what could be major catastrophe, if not doom, we turn our defenses and want so badly to believe all will be well. (at least I do anyway).

But, I am ready to know the truth. Uncertainty is far more stressful. I think I know the truth now.

Thanks. So these rods were spent and radioactive? Each plant has these then? Any idea as to the status of the other spent rods at the other plants? Are they always on top of the buildings or are some down on the ground? I just have this awful image of these rods abandoned and lost eeeking out radiation somewhere.

I transcribed a translation of (almost) every word of this Foreign Press Corps conference. It has taken me several hours to do so and it is, I believe, quite accurate.

If you are seriously interested in the real situation at Fukushima Plant No 1 and the problems with the #1 (first explosion) reactor, the #3 the MOX =uranium + plutonium fuel reactor (second explosion) and the #2 reactor (whose rods were fully exposed and which went into meltdown because someone forgot to refuel the "Pump Vehicle" and they temporarily lost their supply of sea water coolant).... please scroll down page 1 or 2 of GLP and skim my post. It is word for word.

I really don't think many other countries are going to have too many problems from this. That is if there isn't another major earthquake there or in Cali. However, Japan is screwed, they should try to get more people the fuck out of there.
