I even leaned quite a bit to the left instinctively trying to keep my balance. seems many others have these same things happening. i agree its unconfortable, particularly as i never know when its going to happen. its like laying in a tree hammock and a slight sway of the wind comes along only u swing back and forth almost to the point of spining like floating in water. glad im not the only one, i had just dismissed it-but it continues to happen. never dealt with this before. if u r in georgia and another is in alabama and im in far south oklahoma then nit sure what that means. weve had quite a few quakes in oklahoma and they think they have discovered a new east west fault line. we are at the edge of the ozark mountains. our hime sits on a mountain top with an area that is very sandy and clay composed. I was guessing i was feeling the waves as the sand moved as it can be pretty fluid. our whole house shook back in november with the 5.9 and the epi center was over 150 miles away. sonethings definitely up. hoping the animals will give us a heads up and some warning. sorry for the poor typing on this post, using my phone. lol ------------------------------------------------------------ Seca Post Above You know I forgot that a while back I had come across something that scared the hell out of me because of where I live. I had posted about it a year ago or so, but then kind of forgot about it until this last week. So thought I would mention it again. The fact it runs through Yellowstone, New Madrid fault, and close to where I live also kind of freaks me out. Lol. I am not sure what parts or part is the 90 miles wide, but that is a hell of wide path if it cracks. The whole sinkhold thing in Florida made me think of it. What a nightmare if that thing opens up. He is sleeping squeezed under an end table every night for the last few days. He did this when we lived in Wyoming right before we got small quakes up there. |

I'm north of Los Angeles and while not feeling the vertigo/dizziness/rolling as often (last time was Friday afternoon the 1st) I am feeling them from time to time. Also getting up at 534am every morning. No alarm needed, I just wake up as if something is waking me. That's been happening for days. Last time this happened was right before 9/11. I'll just hope I have an ear infection and nothing comes of it. |

I am sorry you guys are going through that, but I am also glad I am not the only one feeling it. I tend to get sea sick so thought maybe I was more susceptible to motion issues in general. I just really hope that the 90 mile wide part is not on this end, and if so, we are not directly on it. The sinkhole thing in Florida made me rethink the MGL situation here.
