The North and South American Indians were conquered mostly by the flu, but nobody really talks about this much. The Spanish would have been slaughtered forth with if not for the facts I mentioned in my post. Also, despite what various New Age sources would claim, the Spanish had a superior knowledge of astrology, coming from various sources that link back into Babylonian times, to that of the Aztecs, which allowed Cortez to predict an eclipse during his invasion of Mexico.
