Anonymous Coward User ID: 26765285 Australia 11/01/2012 02:52 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wow, some of the posts on this thread since the last time I checked are just outstanding. Quoting: Mister Obvious Thanks so much for helping to put all these pieces together you guys... I love to have a lot of info compiled in threads to reference later. I would have posted more but I keep getting banned for no reason except it seems as an attempt to extort money from me "Your unban request was denied. We're sorry but the IP address you are using to access this website has been banned. If you wish to immediately bypass this ban, you can choose to become an upgraded member. Follow the instructions and links for this option on the "banned page" you receive when trying to view godlikeproductions.com. If you are already an upgraded member, you can log into your account from the ban page and you will be able to access the site immediately. If you choose not to become an upgraded member of GLP you will have to wait for the ban to be lifted before you will be able to view this website. Please check back later." Because of these bans I lost two large, relevant and time consuming posts that I had written. I am seriously pissed about that. I had thought about giving up on GLP as a joke. I will however make another attempt to rewrite my previous post. Later. I am still pissed. |

There are real problems with them that can't just be ignored. It seems you've never considered them in all of this. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19604136 It's not obsession to notice that all the continents fit together on a smaller globe. Do you consider that to be a mere coincidence? Your use of language is designed to denigrate and belittle and does not constitute a good argument. Both sides can do that. Why ignore the facts about the dinosaurs but hold up some obscure study of fossil corals which 'suggests' only a slight change of rotation. How long was a day back then? How would you know? Your last paragraph assumes that the expansion was occurring within the continents, when in fact it takes place at the mid-oceanic ridges. The rift in Africa need not have come apart at all. Upthrust would still occur in certain places. I don't know whether I will stick around to carry on with this. I can see you're stuck in the paradigm and pride will keep you there. I was once there too, but not any more. You say the coral study is hard evidence, but I've not seen it or the assumptions it rides upon, so I can say little more about it. The dinosaur bones are just as hard evidence, but you wish to ignore it. We can't proceed. "You can't just say you don't care about the dinosaur thing. It's not a distraction. There are real problems with them that can't just be ignored. It seems you've never considered them in all of this." I have considered the dinosaurs but there are even bigger problems with saying that gravity was weaker in the past. How do you explain the weaker gravity? If the Earth's mass was less then then where did all the extra mass come from? We're talking a mind boggling amount of extra matter here. BTW it DIDN'T come from nuetrinos magically and impossibly turning into protons. This has never been observed to happen. "Your use of language is designed to denigrate and belittle and does not constitute a good argument. Both sides can do that." I have never intended to do so and I think you'll find that any such language came from the quotes of other people I posted. "Your last paragraph assumes that the expansion was occurring within the continents, when in fact it takes place at the mid-oceanic ridges." Well no, it doesn't, and I have much more to say about this. "You say the coral study is hard evidence, but I've not seen it or the assumptions it rides upon, so I can say little more about it. The dinosaur bones are just as hard evidence, but you wish to ignore it." At least I am showing evidence, which you are also ignoring. The dinosaur bones are just evidence that they existed. If you think more of them than that then how about some evidence that shows how gravity was weaker in the past and more importantly WHERE DID ALL THE EXTRA MASS CAME FROM? "We can't proceed." I can and shall. |

Custodian User ID: 26386442 United Kingdom 11/01/2012 01:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | for Neal Adams EXPANDING EARTH (which I like as a theory) to be valid, there must be (must be) some internal source of as-yet-undiscovered Earth_internal power source that GENERATES matter from cooling plasma that then cools as yet more techtonia. If we're to accept that Neal Adams is 'somewhere close to the truth' with his assertions of a Growing Earth, can it be valid that we're living near a Growing Sun? Indeed, can it be suggested that the Earth isn't really there in the form we know it, and might be something like the 'event horizon' of some 'crack in space' through which all this 'generated matter' is spewing, over time, swelling the Earth FROM WITHIN? Same for the sun, it's all pouring in from ELSEWHERE.... |

Redpaw360 User ID: 11235712 United States 11/06/2012 01:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have been a long believer in the "Expanding Earth" theory. Quoting: Hitndahedfred Somehow tectonic plates moving just doesn't sound right. ALL the continents were connected at one time. Hell even when my daughter was 6 she said that the earth looks like it "grew" and that is why everything fits together so well. It looke to me like you are implying earth was once completely covered by solid ground. Seems impossible to me. The negative of space = the positive of mass and energy. you need to understand the the NATURAL state of the Universe is expansion that's why all other galaxies are speeding away from us, as evidenced by the red shift that means that space is increasing, which also means mass and energy MUST also be increasing because the negative of space, and the positive of mass and energy MUST equal ZERO in the Universe, which means mass and energy, somehow, increases to keep up with the increasing space. Don't ask me how, I don't know, but that rule is paramount. The negative of space = the positive of mass and energy. The Universe is like a giant battery. that is KNOWN! watch this vid carefully from 25:00 on. it'll open your eyes. if space increases, mass and energy MUST increase. [link to www.youtube.com] when a body like earth expands, maybe there are processes deep down that liberate hydrogen and oxygen deep within it to form masses of water? Great info found on this thread. Nice debates and so far from reading the first two pages, no damn name calling... I finally found the time to read this from my favorites list. Oregon Constitution Article I, Section 27 The people shall have the right to bear arms for the defence of themselves, and the State, but the Military shall be kept in strict subordination to the civil power. |

It just felt that way because the earth was spinning faster. If the earth stopped spinning right now. You would not be able to stand up. You would fall to the ground under your new extreme weight. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18844533 you're implying that the centrifugal force is responsible for that? How about standing up at the poles? |
