This Sun Grazing Comet Is NOT a Small Comet...

That one looks concerning.
Looks like a partial photospheric eruption, I would say it is probably in direct response to the comet impact.

That is a massive amount of plasma lifting off from the sun I'd say easily on the order of 1e-9 Solar mass. The next question is does it have escape velocity or will it rain back down onto the surface of the sun.

We will have great movies of this to watch tomorrow and even more in a couple of days when STEREO goes to hi-res images...mark my words...those images missing today will be inserted in the next couple of days...they always withhold realtime data when they are unsure of the outcome and scrambling to study the images themselves.

No. It's a matter of momentum transference and given the sun is a large ball of plasma it is inherently variable, the introduction of a small cometary body most likely just triggered a pending event.

The electric universe theory has had most of it's hypotheses fail to be proven. Where as the quantum universe has had most of it's proven.

That said most of the suppositions for the electric universe are based on fallacious logic.

Since it appears that some of you want me to defend myself let me say.

For those that speak of the electric universe, as they treat it in a religious manner rather then a scientific one, these quotes from Frank Herbert most apply.

DOUBLE ERUPTION:

On October 1st around 10:17 UT, widely-spaced sunspots 1302 and 1305 erupted in quick succession, revealing a long-distance entanglement which was not obvious before. NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) recorded the double blast:

The part of the eruption centered on sunspot 1305 hurled a coronal mass ejection toward Earth. The relatively slow-moving (500 km/s) cloud is expected to reach our planet on Oct. 4th, possibly causing geomagnetic storms when it arrives.

Nasa and soho obviously withholding images/data from us as they always do when something of importance is occuring.

They may need to doctor images in the name of national (corporate) security/interest.
Besides they wouldn't want to panic the masses if it was serious.....freeways must remain open so elite can make it to safety.

Actually, it looked more like a whinny attack post to me. His rebuttal was basically just insults, and you can't call the 'show use the proof!' one way or another an good attack. It's just a convenient way for people on this site to think they've owned someone. I would say there isn't sufficient evidence for either theory about the sun and interactions with celestial bodies.

Sol should really flag his post for abuse, because that's all it was. Notice how Sols post was a careful takedown. The response just being curse-spitting rants.
