It's not illegal for someone's cat to come on to your property as it is for their dog to do so. Animal control could cite him for this if one of the cat owners complains to them. If the cat's worth over 400.00 (or whatever his state sets the value to for grand theft), which some purebreds are, he can be charged with grand theft. OP probably knows who the owners are & is afraid to face them and talk to them about problem. If he knows these cats have owners he is breaking law by trapping/killing them or whatever it is the hell he is doing. He should just get a dog to chase cats out of his yard. Oh, he probably hates dogs also. |
