So whatever it is, it doesn't frag us off the earth every 12,000 years, even if it's real, we would every round have a 75% chance of being no where near any major effects, if it passed close enough to us to fuck up the whole planet we wouldn't be here talking right now we'd be the asteroid belt, even if it's coming from the southern hemisphere it's distance from earth has to be beyond Mars because that's where we actually find debris and that's where we have gap.
