Borian User ID: 1139038 United States 06/12/2012 03:43 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | President Obama is quoted in a New Yorker column by hooked-in journalist Ryan Lizza as believing the most important issue to address in his second term would be climate change Quoting: DILKe “Obama has an ambitious second-term agenda, which, at least in broad ways, his campaign is beginning to highlight. The President has said that the most important policy he could address in his second term is climate change (italics mine), one of the few issues that he thinks could fundamentally improve the world decades from now. He also is concerned with containing nuclear proliferation.” [link to www.americanthinker.com] Yes: climate change that THEY are causing with that damned HAARP toy of theirs. If they STOP heating the ionosphere and stop altering the weather, all will return back to normal. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10164827 Generally, I don't take American Stinker's claims for granted – especially not in before elections; I don’t believe Obama actually said that climate changes are “the most important issue”. Nevertheless… The Climate Changes are a statistically proven, empirically fact – regardless if they are man-made or not. You can keep on believing that the record tornadoes, draughts, floods and heat waves are caused by the HAARP or any other magic devices – yet climatologists predicted these effects decades ago. So many of you are buying into most preposterous doom prophecies based on numerology, vague interpretations of Biblical verses, “prophetic dreams” and mysticism while refusing to believe in the doom that is slowly unfolding in front of your very eyes. A vast majority of paranoid theories and doomsday prophecies are distraction from the real issues, hidden in a plain sight. * When did the word "cyclic" leave scientific terms? Can you elaborate your point, please? * Would be happy to. Cyclic means it happens in a pattern over time. We go from hot spells to ice ages. There is plenty of proof out there, but if you really need references, I'll provide them. Just because it's happening now, doesn't mean we need to spend money for "carbon credits". Look it up if you don't know the term. That's where the funding is comming from. Follow the money. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 6231580 United States 06/12/2012 03:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So this is it basically, if he is not thrown out, you guys will get an air tax. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17500460 Either way. Romney will do the same. So I would SUPOORT OBAMA... because tis 4 more years of globalist policy instead of 8. Is that because you're a lib tard shill? Romney wont touch this shit with a 10 foot pole he will just drill for more oil and build more nuke plants. your delusional if you think there is any difference between republicans and democracts. Any opposition force has been dilluted because the elite buy them with mutlitple checks to both parties from different corporations. Its the game. Then, the politicians push their agenda, and put a tear in their eye to feighn concern for "the people". And its the same interests giving th BIG money... the Money that buys a same hour return phone call from YOUR representatives. SO, I've come to the conclusion. It is all a ficticious creation, entirely captured by the banking elite, federal reserve have now mandated economic policy (Keynsianism), Security apparatus policy (through DHS, top-to-bottom), and the people are not even a consideration anymore. We can go paint our signs and bitch and moan on forums, but I guarantee ::: Not a DAMN thing will change this. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 17811310 Sweden 06/12/2012 05:00 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | President Obama is quoted in a New Yorker column by hooked-in journalist Ryan Lizza as believing the most important issue to address in his second term would be climate change Quoting: DILKe “Obama has an ambitious second-term agenda, which, at least in broad ways, his campaign is beginning to highlight. You can keep on believing that the records tornadoes, draughts, floods and heat waves are caused by the HAARP or any other magic devices – yet climatologists predicted these effects decades ago. * Just a few years ago the government and their paid climatologists were saying that we were going to slip into an ice age. There was just as much panic back then as there is now. So which doom are we really facing, the ice age, or a tropical paradise? Is your solution to Cap & Tax? What???? Can you support you claim that "few years ago... climatologists were saying that we were going to slip into an ice age" with a trustworthy source, please??? Maybe some dissenting scientist had that idea but it was never a common notion - at least not few years ago. No, additional taxes are definitely NOT my choice; instead of taxpayers, I'd rather grab corporations for their balls. * [link to www.skepticalscience.com] There is no climate doom... the world balances out. The hurricanes and tornadoes have always happened. There is just more people and houses in the way now. We also have more news outlets, and media sources to report bad weather. This kind of climate panic happens in every century and decade. The same thing always happens... Nothing. From time to time weather patterns change. It is hotter for a few years and then it is cooler for a few years. There have been hot times and cold times in the Billion years of history on the earth, even before mankind was ever here. The earth was a lot hotter during the time of the dinosaurs. From plant life, rain forests, marshlands, the whole earth was thriving with an abundance of life. What we see today is nothing more than a bunch of corrupt politicians getting together with their paid experts, so they can tax everyone for the air they breathe. The politicians & the corporations are thick as thieves on this whole climate change issue. Look up CCX (Chicago Climate Exchange), this is how they plan to tax the hell out of everyone, and pass the bill onto the American people. Look at Barack Obama's ties to GE & BP. BP had the oil spill in the Gulf, and Obama let them spray Corexit and all kinds of nasty chemicals into the Gulf of mexico. Hundreds of pelicans, fish, sea turtles, and dolphins died because of what these evil people done by poisoning the water. Look at GE. Obama and the CEO of GE are best buddies. GE paid no taxes. On top of that, GE designed the reactors that melted down in Japan. These corrupt criminal politicians need to stay away from the environment. Every time they do something to help the environment... they end up making everything worse than it already is. Nature resists humankind because humankind resists nature. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17772998 No, a term "Global Warming" was hyped by MSMs and opportunistic politicians - like Gore - and exploited by Holdmywood in a disgusting manner. That doesn't mean that climate changes are not a real concern - without needless paranoia and sensationalism. * Sigh, even the global warming, oops meant climate change tards on Wikipedia didn't even bother to change most of their references to "global warming". Check now before they completely change it! [link to en.wikipedia.org] The "global warming" has always been just a part of the climate changes: [link to en.wikipedia.org] Yes, even if the global warming trend is evident (don't mix it with the universal warming) it was way, way over-hyped, unfortunately - it's a catchy phrase. Climate changes are a broader issue. The worse damage has been done by Holdmywood, abusing it in Disaster movies to no end, for shame. * Ah man I give up. It would take a team of our most highly trained expert logicians from out top Universities to figure out the twist and turns in the intricacies of the "logic" you are trying to get through. GW is not Climate Change and something Holwood made, GW is part of Climate change, GW is not or is part of Univeral Warming (WTF is this now?), etc., But has been a hilarious (and mostly excruciating) exercise in the examination of the libtard mind! Scary to think libtards like you populate our country, and the world, but explains a lot. It seems you have a reading comprehension problem, my friend; I'll type the following slowly so you can read, ROFL: - the GW has always been a part of a broader issue, the Climate Change. - the GW trend is an empirically proven fact, yet over-hyped. - the temperature changes are relatively slow; a sudden rise of sea level (instantly sinking coastal cities) is a Hoolywood's fiction. - the GW is a trend of average Earth's temperatures; it doesn't apply universally for every part of the world. Got it? |
