Do you ever feel you are visiting past lives in your dreams, SS?

I remember a member from my other forum, who had quite a remarkable experience one night...

According to her account, she spent nearly an entire lifetime in a dream, living a 'wooden cabin' type existence in the 1800's.

When she woke from the 'dream' she experienced profound grief being that the Man she 'loved' in that life, was gone from this life.

She was quite upset and wanted to return to that life being the love she felt for him was stronger than her will to rejoin the waking world.

There is some infighting among Jews...but when it comes down to it, the candidates are expected to carry out their collective agenda..

I used to feel very strongly they were past lives. Not so much anymore, as I feel it does not matter if they are, or if they are not.

I know how that member feels. It is a difficult thing to do, because sometimes these experiences are so 'real'. When coming out of them, the 'feelings' evoked from them are extremely strong. Eventually, through the day and days to come, this feeling passes. I imagine if I only had one of them, then it would be much more difficult to...I'm trying to think of the proper way to say this...

We hold onto experiences and draw them back up into our memory to cling to them. If it were just one, that 'clinging' would be more difficult to release. With many of them, I have learned that clinging to them creates longing for them to actually be real, and hoping that it is true.

So, now I have had enough of them, that the clinging/longing aspect is not part of the memories. There is a releasing to the attachment of them, so they can exist in memory without evoking that feeling of loss that the clinging brings with it.

i`m just thinking i`ve never been prompted to take a something from any location i have been to, including the garden

it was surprisingly cold at alcatraz i found, although it was may when i went there, cold mist

i`ve just noticed i have never desired to keep stones although i have found many i like enough to pick up

none have prompted possession
