yes they have. i observed a debate just the other night. i can't remember the fellows name but he is a highly respected scientist from a california school. he made that claim. science is based on observation. we may be able to see things that were unobservable 50 year ago but there will always remain things that cannot be observed.

The engravings translate to "This space intentionally left blank."

The prayer is inscribed in an ancient script, rarely used today. It seems to be a philippic against small insects, absent-mindedness, and the picking up and dropping of small objects.

The gate is open; through it you can see a desolation, with a pile of mangled bodies in one corner. Thousands of voices, lamenting some hideous fate, can be heard.
The way through the gate is barred by evil spirits, who jeer at your attempts to pass.

Re: X Marks the Spot
The secret of alchemy is this: there is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the Universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."
 Quoting: Fulcanelli

let`s work backwards on this /z\ with our templars remembering this:

 Quoting: aether

Prisca sapientia

Prisca sapientia, Latin for "ancient wisdom". According to a widespread perception in the Renaissance had God revealed parts of the ultimate truth of humanity several times in the past . For this reason, an endeavor was always looking so old texts as possible to, if possible, restore the oldest wisdom. The main source was of course the Bible . But even texts Corpus Hermeticum and the Kabbalah was considered to contain clues to this wisdom.
 Quoting: observation

[link to translate.google.co.uk]

Oh, yes. There's a tradition of scholarship that was very popular in the Renaissance called the prisca sapientia, the primal wisdom. It claimed that there was a secret wisdom that was first transmitted by an archetypical figure—say, for example, Moses—and then passed down through a line of successors, usually including Pythagoras, Plato, and so forth, and that this wisdom was really the ultimate tool for understanding the universe. Newton clearly believed that.

Did Newton view himself as one of these chosen few, one of the people ordained to receive this wisdom?

I suspect he did, yes. I don't think he would have admitted it publicly, but one of his pastimes was concocting alchemical pseudonyms for himself. And one of these pseudonyms was Jehovah Sanctus Unus—that is, Jehovah, the Holy One .
 Quoting: observation

[link to www.pbs.org]
 Quoting: aether

sir issac newton who`s laws define our present era was self titled Jehovah Sanctus Unus

archetype affect /z\ tounge
 Quoting: aether

Jehovah Sanctus Unus = jehovah the holy one = universal laws

see how that /z\ works
this is the reason science clings to it`s belief
the altered state information was given in god`s name
thus can never be shown to be wrong
because if it is
god was wrong

Well...what is being 'given credit'? If one has the passion to track down and reign in bits of Truth that doesn't mean they now 'own' it.

It just is.

For example, DNA was in spiral form before it was (re)discovered to be so. I remember hearing that when DNA was being 'cracked' that it was a bit of a 'race' of who was gonna get it first.

In a race where people are rushing to reach the finish line, the scenery is often missed along the way.

To live is to believe in the power of dreams! To dream is to believe in the power of love! To love is to Know the truth!
The Desire to Be fuel the belief that you Are which ignite the Will to Become which bring back forth the desire to be...
Let it be-come you! It means Stop seeking your higher self! It is seeking you! Stand still in your mind to calm the waters of your mind and then it shall find you, so you can ride those waves together!
your true self lies somewhere between your heart and your consciousness. It is called the heart consciousness, which is the creator, which is you!
The heart create the emotions and our mind evoke its purpose, from which we dream the life we live in order to imagine the nature of reality and finally remember love!

The highest Purpose of our mind is the ability to Forget! Go on and Forgive yourself!
There is no love in truth but there is truth in love!
Be authentic, nobody else can do it for you!
