It was just as bad in 2005 or 2006 in my part of Texas. I agree, this year is as bad as that year. They are everywhere! |

In the grass there are like 2 or 3 every square foot. With each step I stirred up atleast one. Quoting: Erectus It made me wonder if we'll see a locust plague next month or in September. Has anyone else noticed an unusually high number of grasshoppers? Anonymous Coward 07/19/2012 09:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You know what's so weird? I was driving down a countryish road today and I SWEAR... every half mile AT LEAST I could SEE a HUGE grasshopper sitting in the middle of the road. HUGE grasshoppers. I saw one in my driveway the other day, biggest fucking grasshopper I've EVER seen. I don't even know if they really are grasshoppers, maybe they're called something else, but... they're fucking everywhere! |

Has anyone else noticed an unusually high number of grasshoppers? We had them in the Texas Panhandle this year...it happens every few years.
