Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14627334 A pedophile marketers bonanza. I'll bet the U.S. Dept of Justice is all over that shit. "Pedophiles "R" US" (tm). Yup, unfortunately this is the kind of filth that happens when neocons and religitards try to outlaw birth control and abortion, and as a result there are many unwanted babies and children around. They end up being horribly abused. Nice going, control freaks! I guess you like Spray and Nueter R'US? What did people do in the 1800's with there children? Did they dump them? Are you saying children during the 1800's were not abused or dumped? No I don't like chemtrails btw. |

Quoting: christian The rise in the abandonment of infants across Europe is most visible in the spread of “baby hatches” or “boxes” across Europe, where unwanted infants are left anonymously. The phenomenon was previously more prevalent among immigrants, but it is becoming more widespread among financially desperate members of the local population. The hatches are sensor-activated so when a baby is placed, an alarm is activated and a carer comes to collect the child. [link to www.cnbc.com] majority of them are from Asian,African immigrants, i know because the charity worked for in Greece and Italy were full of black babies. from north Africa. and Vietnamese and laos to Chinese. these babies are the result of the immigrant prostitution, they come into the country, as sex workers, get pregnant those woman that can not offered to bring up the baby, simply give it away and move into another European country this is a known problem in Europe since we started taking large amount of immigrants |

Greece averages 1.3 children per family, Portugal and Italy 1.4. Immigrants and gypsies average i don't have enough fingers to count children. As OP name states, who is the christian that dumps the 1,4 child of his? So come to you senses, too much Koolaid in the article/thread. |

Quoting: christian Well in the Great Dust Bowl of the USA and the Great Depression people were not dumping there kids in the streets or fields.... Do you enjoy putting other countries down and stereotyping much then? and before you begin condemning and pointing fingers, there isn't anyone here who would condem actions of one who would dump a child. I was not doing that...I just said people use to have more respect for life then they do today, that is just fact now a days... Don't worry most people knew what you meant and I agree. "Do you enjoy putting other countries down and stereotyping much then?" ^^ This ^^ is very funny coming from a brit, when we know that their national pasttime is putting other countries down and stereotyping. Agree as well. |

Ever hear of the Orphan Trains from New York City and, to a lesser extent, Boston, that would take orphaned street kids or kids in orphanages and "place" them with families who wanted to adopt them in the midwest -- Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, etc.? Charles Loring Brace founded the Children's Aid Society and started the Orphan Train movement in the mid-to-late 1800s and into the 1900s. Quoting: Anonimous Cowerd There were orphanages then as well because there were no social programs like today. I think Greece is in this predicament now which is why they are dropping off their kids. There is no safety net for them. |

We are decent people and would love to help out others but it is our nation/govt that seems to have problems helping us out, why bring anyone here? They would end up in the same place with no real truths or trusts. This is sad and as stated we would help others but if you cannot trust others then why bother it truly is not helping them. They need to be aided by nations that will truly help their own and through that the others can feel safe. |

To have a baby, you better be sure to have the financial support for it! And for all of you think that's just money, blah blah blah, materialism, whatever, you need to fucking feed that baby somehow and no one is going to give you bread for free. What are you talking about? Situations change. People with great jobs are now jobless and can't feed their families. And, by the way, there is a foodbank program in America that is awesome in a lot of areas and there are local charities that will give food away. There are several where I live. |

Thankfully they were all reunited later, but the mother was not able to take care of them for at least a year. |

Millions out of a job, people homeless on the street, and all the jobs exported to thier Commie buddies in Beijing. These socialists are the absolute filth of humanity. The answer for me is simple. They should just go and find out where all these socialist live, then go in with the Police and boot them onto the street. See how they like living rough. Then sell off the houses and belonging of the socialists to help bail out all the economies they've trashed. |

When you have lack of respect for nature it is only a matter of time before human beings are treated like throw away garbage also. And it is only going to get worse" I can only imagine what these parents must be going through to come to a decision like that. They can't feed their kids and can barely feed themselves. It's profoundly heartbreaking and has NOTHING to do with a lack of respect for life. They are desperate and don't know what else to do. God only knows some of the stories they must have to tell. But unless you are in their shoes you can't possibly know what they are going through. Perhaps we are a little too quick to judge. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1550123 United States 12/06/2012 12:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Selfish. Kids before adults. Any state provides enough at least to eat and have a roof over your head. Love and food is all you need. I wonder what goes through the parents minds. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17418121 Maybe they are just freaking out. Don't know. But I would move in with other people in order to keep my child. And small children don't eat that much nor do they need lots of clothes and toys and what not. They need their parents. And adults only need one meal per day(give the rest of the food to the kids) and not a lot of clothes or 'toys' as well. It all comes down to priorities. It is hard but it can be done. Hopefully these parents will go back and get their kids when they 'sober' up and get real. |
