yeah, I was ostracized at a previous job. Was kind to everyone, kept a Bible on my desk to read on breaks, never shoved anything down anyone's throat. Wore a big ole cross though cuz I like it - and....eventually got 'forced out' of the job. They hired a nutjob Wiccan (not a friendly one, a V-for Vendetta one), who told me all her problems, confided in me she'd previously been physically abused by her native American boyfriend - I always lent an ear. She said she felt ugly, I told her she was beautiful. I thought it was weird she told me all this stuff about herself but never ONCE asked anything about me or my family.

After she gained my confidence she started lying about me to others. To this day, I have no idea what she said or what was going on. Like 2nd grade, everyone started avoiding me like the plague. She and her comrades destroyed my career. TOTALLY changed my entire life and my family's life. I had to take a mindless job and a HUGE paycut from which I was never able to catch up from - even 10 years later. I only know I was constantly made fun of - they were calling me a "prude" and a "old virgin" and lots of other things - my coworkers were partying at night without me and mocking me. They'd have birthday parties for each other, but never for me. It was so childish if it didn't have adult consequences. It was all surreal, and up until this summer had been the absolute WORST experience of my life. It was absolute hell. I had nightmares about them stalking me and ruining me everywhere I went. These nightmares still happen occassionally!

I pray all the time, these things:

pray for patience, to be lovely and sweet and kind
to be more generous, forgiving and unjudgemental.
to have wisdom, to not be fooled, intimidated by evil or tempted by sin
to be humble
to be sweet and loving to my family and my enemy

to try to understand the other side of the story

to understand I'll never 'get it' all when it comes to others idea's, beliefs, practices.

to understand the God does

to realize that I will never be perfect, that that is Jesus's job to be, and I'm to love Him even though I'm a most unloveable sinful person.

To thank God for my husband, his job, my home, my country, and my President and government even though I don't like the later two much right now, I know God will have justice served in the afterlife.

I pray for health, our healthcare system, our doctors and hospitals and that evil is ushered away from them.

Only one God can hear and answer them all, that is the creator, the Father, the HOly Spirit in one. The great I AM.

So many out in the world, do not understand true...and I mean true Christians.
Not Sunday church bench seat warmers who claim to be Christian but don't practice it outside the walls of a church.
The true lover and believer in Christ our savior is as confusing a being to non-believers as Americans are confusing to the rest of the world.....

Evidently you need to re-read from a new perspective.

I do not belong to a church, that being said...

However I can personally attest to many strictly non-denominational churches that are completely orthodox which are definitely houses of hope with all the false teaching and apostate splintering being perpetrated out there.

It is our job as well.

Many have herd mentaility..but as sheep they also quickly may change who to follow..

I don't want to "get out of the game". I just believe that the way Home is within each of us. No one can guide us, lead us or teach us the truth. We each must learn the Truth alone. The church, especially Christianity is about control. Control to guide you the way they wish you to go. To make you believe that you are not worthy of understanding God by yourself. To me, that is nothing but a form of slavery.
