These coalesced into atoms through natural processes the first and most common formed being hydrogen with one proton and one neutron. This Hydrogen attracted more hydrogen until clouds were formed and eventually the clouds became so dense the pressures triggered a fusion reaction started this fusion reaction in stars is what creates all the elements needed for life. Gold iron potassium all are formed in stars all the atoms in your body were once a part of a star. What triggered the big bang? Some think it was the collision of two universes, but really no one knows maybe it was created by an intelligence? If you need to know more just consult a High School Physics Teacher or a Physicist. Hope that helps. Also that is a very simplified version. |

No one can claim to know how it all started. People need to understand exactly what the word THEORY means. Too often the word is used instead of hypothesis. Both are very different from each other. The "big bang" is a theory. Creationism is an hypothesis. |

The easy way to explain them is that an hypothesis is a possible explanation that has yet to be tested. A theory is an hypothesis that has completed extensive testing and is generally accepted as being an accurate representation of the observations thus far. |

Pattern recognition says yes. :cells: :universe: ------ What these two said is correct. The universe is infinite and infinitely complex with infinite chaos and infinite order, just like God. You really think God can't do this, OP? He's a complex being and he plays dice with the universe. Man up and say Yahtzee. |

Halcyon Dayz, FCD User ID: 19507663 Netherlands 09/21/2012 07:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Immagine that scenario with thousands and thousands of degrees... Quoting: DUCM900 So Big-Bang supporters, tell something please. Since the word sterile (in this context) means lifeless the question is oxymoronic. Of course there was no life before there was life. The Universe had some 9 billion years to cool down before life came about so temperature is not an issue. Here is an overview on current thinking about abiogenesis. [link to en.wikipedia.org] A Theory, when advanced by a competent scientist, is an elaborate and detailed attempt to account for a series of otherwise disconnected and apparently unrelated observations. It is based on numerous observations, close reasoning, and, where appropriate, careful mathematical deduction. To be successful, a theory must be confirmed by other scientists through numerous additional observations and tests and, where this is possible, must offer predictions that can be tested and confirmed. The Theory can be, and is, refined and improved as more and better observations are made. What is a Theory not? It is not "a guess". — Isaac Asimov Reaching for the sky makes you taller. Hi! My name is Halcyon Dayz and I'm addicted to morans. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 21738912 United States 09/21/2012 07:23 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | When life appears in a sterile, human created environment using their plasma and amino acid theory, then i will believe you can get something (life) from nothing (pre-life). This hypothesis theyd call a theory is too over the top for me to believe. One book i was reading says it is like winning the lottery and getting struck by lightning and some other near unlikely things happening to you all at the same time. And thats just the spark of life. These lock and key amino acids that make up dna arent really all that compelled to come together. As for the universal energy and its impact on life, no. Science is a bit beyond the spiritualism for life magickally appearing within the universe. Honestly i think there are multiple universes and ours is more young and fostered by an advanced species from a different universe. Petrie dishes are the easiest way and thus most likely. |
