Hamas does not represented all of the Palestinians nor does it have the military power to threaten the existence of Israel.

How are these unfortunate deaths any worse than when the US has a drone drop a bomb on a Pakistani location and takes out 17 civilians while supposedly terminating a couple of terrorist? There have been many thens of thousands of civilians killed during operations in Libya, Iraq and Afghanistan.............. and those are apparently legitimate 'collateral damage' but what happens in Gaza is somehow different.

This whole war started because they smuggled Sa-24s in to the Gaza strip from Libya, you cannot have 5000+ surface to air missiles capable of shooting down a commercial airliner at altitude in the hands of unorganized militant’s period.

The Israeli planes will be fine even the commercial ones have ECM’s but no other country does, it was a matter of time till we lost a commercial flight.
