BREAKING!! Obama to bypass congress to ban semiautomatic firearms!!

People were equally concerned when Clinton was POTUS and in fact he and Janet Reno did ban the import of many guns they deemed "scary looking" or whatever the criteria was. I think it was if something was called an assault weapon, they banned it regardless of what it was.

Now I know Clinton calls himself the first black POTUS but he isn't really. Just white treash from Arkansas.

Did they shut down transportation grids and delivery of food and supplies?
Did they blast pockets of 'resistance with arty and air assets and run over them with tracks and armor?
Did the shut down netflix and youpron?
I'd think if the gloves were really off, scorched earth and unrestrained violence against civilians would do the trick to a population more suited for dancing with the stars instead of shooting at them.

You have alot to learn about war, it's not like the video game were you just send in the troops and artillery. The number one cause of failure in battle is not loss of life it is loss of morale and drive. These are two things that are impossible to over come because our volunteer military is diverse and from all 50 states with moral ties far deeper than any oath. Then you have the established 45-60% that are in the military for the check. When a warfighter like Tommy Franks says it can't be done.... It can't be done. This is real world not video games or some half ass third world country... You really have no clue.

You assume in this scenario that the members of the armed forces will be convinced to attack their fellow citizens. I don't share that assumption. In fact, I have just the opposite assumption.

TPTB need people to fly those planes and drive those tanks. They need minions to kill fellow citizens. I don't believe that they will have the needed forces that are willing to turn on their own fellow citizens.

I may be wrong, but I have faith that many if not most military members would join the fight against the government if it got to that point.

Sure a "few" gun owners do have a lot of ammo, but with a typical ammo expenditure rate of 300 rounds per day per fighter when in battle being the planning numbers for armies HOW MANY DAYS COULD MOST PEOPLE'S AMMO SUPPLY KEEP THEM GOING?

A 30 day supply is probably the MINIMUM that each person should have, but in reality how many people have 9000 rounds of ammo for their guns sitting in their closet? (and 22LR rounds do NOT count)

The issue anymore isn't guns ... there are almost a couple of hundred million guns out there now ... the REAL issue is AMMO!!

What good does someone buying another AR-15 do if on average they (across all the new buyers) only have 3 boxes (60 rounds) of ammo for it?
