I've been crying all week on and off this thread makes me tear up to for some reason.. didn't want to say it last night cause this place seems so weird sometimes,

but my dog left out for a walk last monday something she always done, country dog, but she never came back home..she was 8 years old and knew the way back, and i know she has died, it's heart breaking, like that other thread, about 'afraid', i wondered if i was as good to her as she was me, she was a smiling dog, literary when she would see you she smiled the biggest smile, teeth and everything showing, never seen a dog do that but her..
And i read where someone else on this thread dog had died, and someone seeing the same things over an over in different places..


Just been very sad all week, maybe longer, feel for the first time, my life has been nothing but one big waste, that i don't have purpose anymore, i don't understand why i can't get to a better place, emotionally.

about month ago when i came up, my dog was giving me her big smile, thought how i needed to take her picture while she's smiling like that.. never did..

do you have to walk though the bad to get back to good sometimes, or has the good slipped away, out of reach now?
i don't know of anyone that's not having some sort of 'tribulation' hardships going on right now. But this Christmas and i so need to feel the Christmas Spirit, it will come surly...pray it does.

every person goes thru seasons like this and im not talking about the holiday season. i'm talking about seasons of struggle and despair.

i lost my husband two years ago this upcoming january. also, had my oldest leave the nest. then lost my mother over the summer. i feel like i have no friggin purpose sometimes. i get such deep sadness and despair that it almost cripples me. i have an 11 yr old daughter and she is the only thing keeping me going sometimes. i have no family near me. the closes is 7 states away. it gets really lonely and difficult sometimes. seriously.

i am in my forties. i have an illness that affects my physical abilities. i am struggling to make ends meet all the time. i spend most of my time freaked out about how hard things are. i have no husband anymore. he was my soulmate and he is gone. i have had no desire to date, and don't see that feeling returning any time soon.

i am the perfect definition of "poor in spirit"

i am completely spiritually bankrupt and a broken empty vessel.

apparently, this is exactly where God wants me.

but...
i have learned many things.
many hard hard lessons.

and the way that God's spirit moves in me today is nothing short of miraculous.

if i focus on the hardships and heartbreak i will be in despair. if i focus on the multitudes of blessings in my life i am in joy and bliss.

it's all about perspectives. and gaining a new perspective sometimes takes super-human effort.

it's worth it.
