This happened before with Duke University some years ago.I can't remember the details quite correctly but it went down something like this. Some church group forged papers for an illegal to get a transplant. Turns out the first one wasn't correctly matched and second one was done the illegal died. The illegal parent sued Duke and Duke had to pay.That's when it was revealed that the person was here criminally and the church helped forged papers. I not sure what denomination the church was, except that there was ( in my opinion) a criminal conspiracy to kill two American citizens!

Well I do know after the big quake in Haiti they brought over about 50 kids and gave them free medical here in NC, I hate to say it but folks here in NC don't get good medical for free yet those folks did. Makes me wonder if Canada will give me free medical and even fly me there. All free.

It is beyond belief that some here illegally can not only get a free transplant but that they get ahead of the legal residents of the country that are on a waiting list and then he gripes about his treatment!

But, nothing will change in this country. The U.S. citizens would rather bitch and moan about the situation than try and change it. A touch of protectionism, a halt on all immigration (including legal) and a pulling back from the global economy would turn this country around -- but Americans don't really care because it means they might have to be a bit uncomfortable.

STOP buying imported items (unless it is essential to your health), STOP using non-citizen labor for your services, STOP going to ethnic restaurants unless you know the labor is legal, BE calm in your demeanor - but VOCAL in that we must start protecting our own family first, then community, then state then the United States. This would also help other countries because they too would then be able to isolate to a degree and have a strong infrastructure for their people.

So, if you ever have to flee to another country and have a medical problem while there, you want us to let you die.

I think health care is a service not a "right". If my computer or car needs fixing I do pay for service. Not a right to get it fixed for free. Anyone can walk into a hospital and get health care service.
