Re: Had strangest dream about being in another dimension last night.
OP
it sounds to me like you OBE'd last night. While out of body a dark spirit tried to step into your body. Symbolically the house is your body, the door which you closed is symbolic (as well) of you leaving your body unprotected while you were out of body, allowing any spirit the means of stepping through and into your body.

In the future before falling off to sleep ask your spirit guide(s) to watch over you (if you're religious pray to god for protection) it doesn't matter what you belief system is only that you do believe, there is protection available to you. Surround yourself with golden-white light of protection imagine it as though it were a sphere of light encapsulating your body.

I remember her night gown too, kind of thin, off white looking, pearl looking buttons on it. I will see if I can find any pictures of it on the internet. I would remember it. I thought it was a pretty gown, because it had an old fashioned look to it.

I had something that fits that description, but not anymore. Also to be clear, I no longer live in Texas. It just caught my attention. It is like maybe I had that same dream, but it would have been years ago when I was in Texas, and as it turns out, when I had a gown like the one you described.

There is probably nothing too it. It is just that while I was reading your post it seemed so odd.

That does too add to the element of strangeness that you had a gown like that. I read that one post that someone said, what if I left my body open like a door, and something was trying to get in. That adds to the strangeness factor for sure. We have been dealing with a presence here, more than one in fact. The worst entity, I felt like we had gotten rid of. I was sitting at my computer a couple days ago, and I could feel something watching me. I thought my husband had gotten up out of bed without my noticing. I turned around quickly and it was gone. I was on GLP at the time, as usual. We have had at least one entity here most of the time. It seldom goes away. This one seems to be harmless. I have guests that come stay with us at different times, I am a good host, and enjoy company. Our guests, tell us that they can feel something upstairs. Like it is watching over them. Sometimes, I can hear it walking too. I say "entity" because I don't know if it is just a harmless spirit, a dimensional being, or what. Many times, we have had bad nightmares, and have seen a being or beings near the bed, when we woke up. This is not the only place we have had this happen. We have moved more times than I care to count because of this, but it never matters where we live. Before I met my husband, I could say that my visitations were always pleasant, because they were. The beings I would describe are "pleadian" though, they weren't specific about things like that. Their presence was uplifting, and not harmful in any way. But after I met my husband, I started experiencing visitations of a different nature. Usually there are nightmares, waking up with strange bruises, and my kids having nightmares too. My husband has seen them more often than I have in a physical presence. They tend to bother him more, and when they come, I sleep so soundly, almost like a drugged state. It takes almost two days or three days to get over the sheer exhaustion. I have been noticing that it happens once or twice a month now, that they come. This happens usually about three or five days after a period now. And the last few months I swear I have been having two a month now. I don't know how any of it is connected. I am just telling you what happens to me. And if any of this happens to you too, let me know. Because it bothers me.

I responded a couple of times yesterday to the thread where the OP was seeing things in their peripheral vision. I do see things out of the corner of my eyes. I hear mumbling voices when no tv is on, and I am alone in the house. I went as far as checking all the radios in case any of those came on, or were left on. They sound like they are talking in a different room, so a little far away. I even thought the neighbors might have been outside. I checked, but nope.

My husband brought me into the room to watch a movie trailer, he said it sounded similar to my dream. It gave me goosebumps! It is called "Another Earth", this got me to wondering if the veil is getting so thin between this other world and ours that even the idea is being picked up and made into a movie.
 Quoting: skyblau

Very profound dream OP! I was just going to mention this movie as your dream reminded me of it when I saw the trailer a while ago.

I also had a need to watch John Carter two nights ago...similar concept too!

No I had never seen the shows before. None of the ones that I seen as I changed the channels looked like ANY show that have ever broadcasted on television. They had a similar feel like a family oriented show like Leave it to Beaver, Brady Bunch, Partridge Family etc. But these were different shows. The coloring was similar for that age, technicolor? Also, no commercials, none whatsoever, no cartoons, and no news. Every channel was a show, or sitcom, I remember the "canned laughter" too. This was like being in the twilight zone, literally. The envelopes that I picked up, expecting there to be an address were blank.

I wonder if you can or will go back there? That would be very odd. But just in case maybe you could think of other ways to find 'proof' of the time. The appliances for example, or car if there is one in the driveway or the garage. If the other lady is in the dream ask her her name.

I will attempt to meditate on going back to the same place tonight as I am lying in bed. I have heard it is possible to return to a similar place in a "dream". I have done this a couple of other times, though this seems different, because it may be both place and time. I will concentrate on details that I remember and try to go back. Though, I was scared somewhat because I felt I shouldn't be there, I want to know. I have to, especially because of the woman. I have to know if she is still locked in the house. If the entity let her go or not.

If OP could recognize stuff in the dreams from the 60s, I presume she is fiftyish, the right age to have been involved in certain secret government programs. People who were part of these are later tormented and harrassed to keep them in fear and make their lives chaotic -- so that they will never REMEMBER

This goes to what Icke is saying about "Remember who you are". We have all been secretly victimized in one way or another. Some of us were abducted, drugged and hypnotized once upon a time, and other horrors were committed on us in the name of "National Security" and other rationalizations created to justify these crimes. Much of it was done just for the pleasure of the sadists who inflicted it.

People who suffer with dreams of this nature have often been victims of these programs and they are often targets of harrassments of different kinds.

Just looked over all your comments, about the experiences of your son and husband.

Sounds like you have a demonic infestation.

You stated you do a house cleansing?

There's various types of cleansing. From my study of demonology, the most effective methods are not the new age house cleansings methods, but rather, go with the Christian methods.

These are far more powerful and actually effective.

To know about these, I would recommend these two books:

'The Demonologist' by Warren
'An Exorcist tells his story' by Amorth

Re: Had strangest dream about being in another dimension last night.
This was the strangest ever dream. It felt too real though, not a dream at all. I "woke up" in the dream in another dimension in my dream.
I was in house it looked decorated like you would have seen in the 60's. It had a television set, and the shows on it were what you would have associated with another time and place. The people on the set, looked human just as I did.

It just starts off with me waking up in the dream, in an unfamiliar bed. a woman who also wakes up is walking down the hallway. She is as bewildered as I am. I ask her, "Did you just find yourself here, just like me." The look of bewilderment on her face was unmistakable, she clearly didn't belong here either.
We walked around the place, looking for some recognition of place, or time. Then there was a knock on the door. She looked at me paniced. like should we open the door?

A man was at the door. The look in his eyes, told me that he knew we didn't belong there. I sensed he was some sort of dimensional being, that looked as human as I did. He asked weird questions, like "Is this your home?" I said, "Why do you want to know?" He pretended to be interested in buying the place. He invited himself in, by pushing past me and was staring at me and her both. She seemed uncomfortable as well. It seemed like he was reading our thoughts. I said, "Well, this house isn't for sale. You need to go."

I rushed him out of there. He stood outside the house, facing the front door after that. Like waiting for something to happen. I said, "I don't like this. Why are we here?" She said, "I don't know." "What do you remember?" I asked. She said, she remembered falling asleep and then woke up here. Same thing happened to me.

We started looking through boxes, looking for any thing that would tell us where we were. It seemed like the past, but it was the present. It could have been earth, it could have been another place just like earth. I told her, "I don't feel good being here.My family isn't here. I don't want to be here." She nodded at me. She said, "We need to go back to sleep." I agreed with her. She sat in the chair, and tried to relax, but we were both aware the man was still outside. I have to admit, it was freaking me out too.

I told her we should go in the bedroom and lock the door, and try to go back to sleep. That gave her some piece of mind. I don't remember what her name is either, but she told me. She told me different bits like she was from Texas. We talked until we both fell asleep. When I woke up, I was in my bed. I was startled awake. After that I fell back asleep.

And I had another dream. I was back in the same house! The same woman was there. This time another entity was there, we couldn't see it but it was angry! We were trying to leave the house, and it was preventing us. I managed to get through the front door.

I was looking through the window at her, the light bulbs blew out, and she was screaming. I was pounding on the door. I heard it speaking german. She didn't understand it, but I did. I started screaming the at the top of my lungs "Offnen die Tur!"

My husband woke me up. I was screaming in German. He said I was shaking, and screaming. I was still half way asleep, but told him what I dreamed. I felt like I slept for ages. This was the strangest night of my life.

Re: Had strangest dream about being in another dimension last night.
This is just an update. Last night we were real tired and before we went to bed I was reading the news again on my computer. Right in the corner, by the wall and the desk where I have my laptop there was a white orb. I caught it in my peripheral vision.
My husband happened to be in the kitchen by the sink, and I asked him to repeat everything did exactly where he was standing to make sure, there wasn't any reflections of any kind. There wasn't. I am more than sure then it was an orb.

Then after that we went to bed. It was very early, about seven pm. I just woke up now, it is the "witching hour" 3:30 am now. I had the strangest dream. It wasn't like the one I had yesterday, no not at all. I did try though to go back. I couldn't, and I really tried. Maybe I tried to hard, I don't know. Anyway, the dream from last night.

I was growing some seeds: Watermelon, banana, onion, cucumber, and squash in a single large tin tub. I grew them all together, and they grew together as a single plant. The bottom of the plant was a watermelon, and off of that was the various kinds. In the dream I am working for my family, my mother, sister, aunt, uncles, etc. in a restaurant. And my sister comes along and takes my plant out of the planter and eats most of the fruits and vegetation. And I am upset, to the point of tears, and anger. I told my family, that I could have regrown this plant if only she hadn't of taken it out of the pot, and taken off small parts of it. It could have allowed to grow. My mother laughs, and says I am ridiculous. My sister says, "Its no big deal" but to me it was like the worst thing my family had ever done to me. Then I am talking to my grandma (now deceased) and she says "It's ok hun, you put it back in the soil, and you can make it grow again. I believe in you." I give her a hug, and she wipes my tears. I gingerly put the plant in dirt, and gather up more dirt with more effort, and then I tell my mother, and sister and everyone else, "I am finished with working here." then I wake up. I woke up with tears in my eyes. I had been crying. I sleepily recounted the dream to my husband, then laid back down for a while after that. What do you think of this dream? Could the orb had been my grandma? I miss her so much.

Re: Had strangest dream about being in another dimension last night.
Just an update on the strangeness around here. It wasn't last night but the night before. I have some houseguests staying with us. They were awakened a little after 2 am in the morning by something or someone, trying to come in through the upstairs door to the balcony. The thing about this door is it has NO STAIRS LEADING DOWN!
Whatever was trying to come in was wiggling and shaking the knob violently. The question is how did it get up on the balcony? My take on it is it must be alien or a dimensional being, or something that it doesn't need stairs.
They all were freaked out. I remember getting up about that time, and my bathroom light was flickering on and off. This only happens in the middle of the night here. I can leave it all 24 hours a day, it it only flickers around between 2-5 am.
My husband reported using the bathroom that night, and said that he could sense something standing right behind him, "breathing" on his shoulder. He said he looked in his peripheral and saw a shadow, but as he turned full around he couldn't see anything. This thing keeps coming back. I don't know it was last night though. I slept too soundly, and haven't asked my guests if they were bothered. I had them place salt water by the bedside up there and put a crystal in it. We resalted the doorways and windows too.

Re: Had strangest dream about being in another dimension last night.
Sorry, but i'm not quite understanding how this is a dream about another dimension?

I've had 2 dimensional dreams in the past 5 years, both of which defied the laws of phsyics, i.e. directions were messed up. I wanted to go down but equated to moving in a totally different direction and I noticed this. A straight line was really a corner, up wasn't up at all, physical objects made no sense to me as I didn't have the required understanding to figure out their geometry.

Still an interesting dream mind you.

Spirits, elementals, demons, angels, whatever you wanna call em. It sounds like you need to move (change your setting) or state of mind/perception (internal). I have spirits but a well understanding with them, I do not want to see them as of now, but they are friendly. Sometimes they wake me up by mimicking the sound of a mouse clicking, or keyboard typing when I am in my room. This doesn't scare me, just a quick reminder to wake up. When I was younger this scared me, however, I would hear typing in the computer room, we called it, which was also my bedroom, as I was trying to fall asleep. Every time I got up to look if anything was typing on the keyboards, nothing was there.

Either way, it seems there is an issue in need of remedy, and likely it is internal and not external (but maybe both, ex: way you are projecting yourself can be considered external), so do not put the blame on the spirits/elementals/demons/angels, they are your friends in truth.

Re: Had strangest dream about being in another dimension last night.
Also consider the possibility that this excites you and you do not want the spirit to go away and to be in understanding- Things can be boring, sometimes, when you understand you create these things and they are not external at all then feel like being lazy.

Re: Had strangest dream about being in another dimension last night.
I had another unusual dream last night, actually it was a nightmare. I Think it must have had a lot of underlying messages. My dream:
My middle child, and my husband were invited to a preachers home, and they didn't come home. I went to find out where they were, and they were arresting the preacher. The preacher had murdered my son and husband. There wasn't much more to it than that.
I woke up and began to think about it. I wondered if I dreamed it because my middle child is closest to my husband, and doesn't want to be separated from him. I thought this "murder" might represent my relationship with my husband which isn't always good. Maybe this just represents my internal discontent within my relationship. I am always thinking, how can I end this marraige, if my son and his step dad are so close?

Re: Had strangest dream about being in another dimension last night.
My husband brought me into the room to watch a movie trailer, he said it sounded similar to my dream. It gave me goosebumps! It is called "Another Earth", this got me to wondering if the veil is getting so thin between this other world and ours that even the idea is being picked up and made into a movie.

i loved that movie.

i would like to add your dream to my dream thread, if that's ok.

somebody told me that characters in our dreams that we don't know are actually aspects of our own selves.

personally, i think your dream was a test of character dream that comes to some from the inter-dimensionals.

you might be being considered.

i would begin a prayer life.
see what happens.
