I left the union thugs years ago because of them I was not getting any higher up the chain.

Now I work for a union free company and get benefits paid in full, All paid holidays etc.. etc... and I make more money on a yearly basses now.

I wouldn't want to belong to a union. Why would I want to pay someone who support values I do not agree with. Unions should stay out of the political business and people would probably like them more. Also, they should work on their negotiating skills cause I would say their tactics with Hostess sucked.

What I understand is that as these so called,..."right to work states" take hold, business will flock to them and begin the process of taking away the gains made by unions in the past,...in effect breaking the whole concept of collective bargaining.

The choice is to slit your own working-throat or not,...imo.

Your average worker of the future will be nothing to worry about politically, because he will have no collective bargaining power and grovel to the Big Boss for any hand out job available.

I would argue that you only get the benefits you admire, because unions fought for them in the past, and made a standard that is adhered to by employers like yours now. Without strong Unions through, all that will begin to dry up.



As far as I know, most Unions jobs pay really well. People want them and covet them for this reason. Now, you feel "forced" to want one of these jobs and have to pay your dues.

Why not work Wal-Mart then, they do not force you to pay anything, because they offer little return.

Fucking commies make you pay a "union dues" each year to shop at SAM's club but you don't bitch about that.

Must be a generational thing going here, all seems crystal clear to me,...

Only a 1/3 of the people in MI are union workers. They are selfish and don't want to do their jobs fully.

their STUPID prop 2 on 'collective bargining' FAILED big time. Those fucks thought that if they called it collective bargining that the rest of MI didn't know that THE UNIONS were behind it. And not only that those fucks wanted to have it put in our (MI) constitution.....

They failed on so many levels and they will fail again tomorrow when Snyder signs it.
