THE SUN WHEN I WAS YOUNGER WAS GOLDEN AND MANY NICE GOLDEN SUNSETS THERE IS A DIFFERENT VIBE IN THE SKY THESE DAYS Well i'm guessing its because the sun is a white star.. A 'white star' dont know what that is ;). Actually its a variable star. ;) Look it up, it's a white star.. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 16459432 I was in the outback two years ago...the stars were STILL clear and bringt..but the sun is BLINDING WHITE...and all the others who had spen any time out there noticed it too. SO TO ALL SHILLS...FUCK YOU!@ They can shill all they like but it does not change the fact that the sun has changed. It was yellow and you could look at it. You could see it was a ball. people used to go out to watch the sunset while they had a drink. Yesterday it was soo bad you could not even look in it's general direction for more than a millionth of a second. What you did see of it, looked nothing like a ball just a massive super white, glaring blob. I was not trying to look at the sun, I was trying to watch a bird that visits my garden who happened to fly of in the sun's direction. Also the UV index has been set at Extreem all week here. It maybe that the ozone layer or something between earth and sun has changed. Even old painting show the sun as it was, up until recent years. Just keep looking at it. It will "sit" in your eyes, and it will do its magic. It is impossible for me to look at, that was what I posted. You go look at it instead, take your own advice, and let it do it's magic on your eyes. It might do a bit of magic to your brain too. You never know, you could get lucky. Also please keep on being an asshat if it makes you feel good, until the sun has worked it's magic on you. |

I meant Daniel from soldierhugs. claims to be an insider and claims star evolution goes from starting off as a cool red giant, then turning orange, then yellow (our current sun), then blue white but in the transition between stable states the sun goes dark for a few days. our sun could be about to transition. someone asked him in his forum why we don't observe stars throughout the galaxy wink out when they go between stages, which i was wondering, but I didn't see what Daniel's reply was |

I have always heard looking at the sun would damage your vision and can lead to blindness. So how do you do it, just quick glances a few times a week or what? Thanks for the advise. |

I have welded for many years and understand looking at very bright things. From torching a peice of steel to welding at low and high heat. You need to set your shield at a setting that lets you see enough to work without hurting your eyes. In my opinion the sun is giving off more lumens and is a higher color temerature than normal. I keep a manual welding glass in my pocket. You can look straight at the sun without injury. The darkness is rated with a number. #10 works great. |
