well, I think 11:11 GMT/UT is the accepted "correct" time of the solstice... so I mean, figure it out from there..

The problem is that people invested enormous energies into this date (can't believe it's here, waiting 9 years!) so things will pop in some unexpected way.

Best thing is to take a day out.

In Illinois here. In the morning, get up and drink my coffee....tune into GLP to see what is goin on. Then go to work later from 1pm to 11pm. Originally I wasn't supposed to work, but I was asked to pick it up because they needed someone to cover that night. Then, come home, tune into GLP, see what everyone is saying, which I am predicting there will be threads saying that 12/22/2012 will be the REAL date....lol. I hope I am right. :)
