Evading the direct question. The agenda of identifying shills is to reveal that corps and governments are trying to control thought. It is for the purpose of shedding light on covert tactics.

If you believe shills exists, and by the implication of your half-hearted response you do, then you must admit that deception - hiding behind a fake identity or failing to reveal that the shill is working for an interest - is utterly antithetical to free thought and debate.

^^^Doesn't address the issue, picks out a diversionary topic, ignores the fact that the topic itself is not the issue of relevance in previous post, ignores the fact that social security was already cited as an area often shilled. Attempts to discredit entire post by suggesting flouridation is a minor topic and so the entire post and point made should be dismissed.

I guess you could say I've sort of made it my job, on a voluntary basis. I really don't like to see people led astray by these tactics. I want to educate others so they can see that this is one more way we are manipulated and controlled. This is one more way the media has been used to sway popular opinion.

I see it aas a dishonorable tactic, but then again, some say all's fair in love and war!

So I do what I can to point it out.

The penny stocks example was another great example.

To further expound, shills are committing fraud or at the very least they are aiding and abetting it. Take this hypothetical. A cafe owner decides to go online and use various identities to review his cafe positively. In fact, the food and service suck. You read the positive reviews and spend $100 on a terrible meal and poor service. You have been defrauded. Wouldn't you like to have known that the owner himself gave all the positive reviews. Wouldn't you like that disclosed somehow? Would that likely have changed your mind to the exact opposite position, ie, if you KNEW the owner was giving positive reviews, you NEVER would have eaten there.

THAT is why it is imperative to shed light on the shillroaches. If the general populace knew that important topics being shilled by the government or other interested parties, they would be inclined to ask more questions and to disbelieve the fairy tales told to them, and to effectuate real change and break the yoke of the TPTB. That my friend would be a wonderful day.

I would call out the penny stock shills whenever I could. I still do to this day, even when they show up on here

It reached the point the owner of IH used to ban me whenever he could...that was before he was arrested by the SEC for scamming the very site he was supposed to police, and it became clear he was one of the bad guys

the more I know, the more it pisses me off when I see them show up, because I know it isn't just discussion

it does have the ability to alter public thought, and thought influences policy and the snowball keeps picking up steam

I think it's also important to come out and make a stand for unpopular positions as well, to encourage other people who may be afraid to stand up to the bullies

that's me, anyway
